Judging by my early morning flyover, I think it's safe to say power is back up and running. Maybe Vallo was just getting us prepped for spooky season? 👻🎃👻🎃 If anyone out there still needs a hand in the aftermath, point me in the right direction; I'm always happy to help!

Hello, testing the network? We've been told that it has been restored, so please chime in if you see this.

In case it's working: from what we've been told, there was a widespread power outage across all of Vallo. Communication was key to restore first, but work is being done to fix the rest of the electricity by the experts. No ETA just yet on when it will be back up, but the word is that it may take some time as the source of the outage has yet to be pinpointed.

We are working on putting together basic supplies to help, in case this goes into the night. Feel free to stop by the DOA, as we've got some candles, flashlights, blankets, easy to prep food, and such here to hand out.

* We're all working on purifying the magic as quickly as possible
* We estimate 48 to 72 hours to finish the job
* In the meantime, magic users who rely on the land for their work are encouraged to avoid any magic use

I have always enjoyed the cathedral ceilings--not the cathedrals themselves, of course, never that. There is something to be said for the increased light and it very much makes a place feel larger, even though it is not useable space.

And I know this because I no longer have a ceiling. I had one, and then for some reason it turned to ash and there is a large hole above me.

Is it perhaps a vaulted ceiling? Hmmmm. Morningside residents, do be cautious of this newfound perk. Perk for me, at least, for the person above me I am not so certain they want a hole in their floor, but, perhaps.

Literally just had someone from a Councilwoman's office hand me a Ron Swanson permit. Where all it said was "I can do what I want. Jennifer."

Government. The job for which not enough coffee or wine exists.

I got brave and got myself a booth!!! I'm going to be selling originals and prints of my work for the first time in my life!

I would like to apologize to anyone who tried to check in on me this weekend. I had wanted to be alone, and Sutton Cottage was following my wishes.

I am [...] not used to having people who care about my well-being. Back home, I had spent most of my time alone with my books, and at the time, that had been enough for me. And so, it seems, I prefer to retreat back to them when things are difficult.

Thank you, all of you, for being my friend. I do appreciate your care and concern, even if I may not have seemed like it at the time. I will endeavour to not isolate myself again.

well, happy birthday to me I suppose.

Not again.

There's a Sunwing from my world that showed up, I'm not sure how long it's been here. But for those of you who were here when a whole Cauldron showed up, this is not that. At least as far as I can tell this seems to be an isolated machine. One I can override and fly around on, which feels more like Vallo being nice than Vallo being mean and dropping a bunch of out of control machines on us.

Unfortunately an animal interrupted my attempt to override it earlier today and I've since lost track of it. I'm hoping someone might have seen it? Please do not approach. As long as you give it space it should not become aggressive, but will defend itself if you approach too close.
