Does anyone want to check out the Moon Day stuff? This whole day of darkness thing is kind of weird but I saw some pictures of the event and it looks kind of neat.

If a field medic/first responder training program was offered, would anyone be interested in taking it? Certified First Responder or Wilderness & Remote First Aid? I know we're full of people used to being in insane situations, but testing to see if there's any need or interest in this aspect.

Secondly, don't forget the Clinic is going to be running its Sex Ed course from the 15 - 17. Not taught by yours truly, but I'm taking this opportunity to remind any interested parties.

Lastly, for anyone impacted by the full moon on Wednesday, don't forget that this month there will also be Moon Day. On July 20 the sun won't rise, and the full moon will be in the sky. A fun promotional day for some, stressful as hell for others.

I feel like I fucked around in this place enough to 1. be fully convinced the gods are not responsible and 2. hear Annabeth's voice in my head telling me to shape up.

How are the colleges in this place?

Today's been interesting at the clinic. As a doctor, I'll advise to not hold in your sneezes because you could potentially pop your eardrums. In that same vein, I'd like to know the most interesting snot creation that has happened thus far. You all never disappoint me.

And I thought I might try my luck here for something new that doesn't have to do with Disaster. I'd actually like to get started on Spanish language lessons. Is anyone fluent in the language who wouldn't mind teaching me? I'm not her-- Is it stupid-- I miss her--

Now that I've had a party at the house, it seemed time to actually unpack everything from my apartment and make it more home again. So, I started with the books, naturally. I am a nerd, I know, but it was fun to get to mix those I've collected in Vallo with those that came through from home with my bedroom in the house.

But clearly those empty shelves need to be filled, post haste.

Does everyone hear animals speaking words today, or is it just me? A bird just yelled "back the fuck up, motherfucker!" at me when I got too close to its nest, an alley cat rubbed against my ankle and said "I own you" right to my face, and I'm not getting into the disaster that was fishing this morning.

There's a new resident who's been assigned to be my shadow this week. They're vegan. Today as day four of being told about the benefits of going vegan. A vegan werewolf? Someone remind me that I took an oath before it's too late.

I'm pretty familiar with ravens, but less so with a singular one just following me around? And staring a lot? ...through windows? So I think that I'm ready to no longer be in denial and admit that this one is trailing but before I do.

Also sudden dumps of new mental letters from home are annoying - who else has experienced those? Has it changed you here? I mean physically. Besides the 'well, thanks for the new trauma' change.

Additionally, I'm looking for someone to spar with. I do my katas every morning but practicing with a quarterstaff has fallen by the wayside. If anyone's interested, let me know. I can bring us to the Mirror Dimension or wherever else.

Wanda and I set a date for the wedding. It will happen on June 4th, atop our favorite mountain that we sort of broke again after we fucked on-- and we'll have a portal or two open to help people get there, but we don't anticipate the entirety of Vallo. We just would like our friends and family to join us for the ceremony and also for a reception back at the Sanctum afterward.

OOC Note: Sorry for deleting the version of this I posted yesterday, I was having a bad anxiety day and spun myself up worrying over jokes not landing well and panic-deleted. Apologies especially to the people who had already commented or were trying to comment, I hope you will forgive me my transgression and not hold this against me forever/never comment on another thing I write for the rest of our lives.

Who knows things about getting rid of curses? We don't know we have curse on Haus, but we are worried enough that we think maybe we should do everything we can find out about to break curses just in case. Even when things are normal, hockey people basically are like granny witches, doing little rituals so we feel like we are in charge of fate. Now things are not normal, magic is real, so we need more stuff to do against bad luck.

Here is what I have collected so far with google:

• Decoy Poppet: Make little dolls of us to distract the bad luck. Poppet looks like doll; is there difference between poppet and doll? Should we also make decoy of Haus?
  
• Mirrors: Put mirrors outside Haus to bounce back curses
  
• Salt Bath: Take bath with salt and baking soda and lavender oil. I am thinking I will do this anyway, it sounds relaxing.
  
• Crystal Wand: It says use selenite wand, wave it around body and area to cleanse.
  
• Smoke Cleansing: Burn bundle of herbs, wave smoke around. Different ones say different herbs, do magic people here have ideas?
  
• Floral Cleansing Bowl: Instead of lighting on fire, put herbs in bowl of hot water and carry them around.
  
• Lemon?: Sweep your aura with a salted lemon, it says. I do not know how to sweep aura, please explain if you know.

Does anyone claim this - ah, extremely picturesque cottage in the forest? I swear we've been through this route several times, and I know the forest shifts but I've never seen anything quite like this before. It's very pretty. With a maze? One I've got no interest in trying to solve thanks to our latest experience.

Also uninhabited, so please let me know if it belongs to someone before Vi makes the threat of 'finders keepers' a reality. I don't think she's ready to be responsible for this much landscape.

Vallo takes and takes and takes lately.

I'd like to think I'm seeing things, but I'm fairly sure that I'm not.

Um, there is... a creature near my pub right now that I'm about 99% positive was one of the creatures loose when we were all trapped in the snow globe last year. So, I'll be noping out of this and going into hiding until it goes away, thank you.
