Hello Vallo! Who needs saving? I ask because I was summoned here, and that's usually the way of things where I'm from! I've wandered about for the last few days looking for the giant monster, or perhaps the lovelorn prince in a dungeon, or maybe even a band of feisty outlaws on the wrong side of the law, but I'm afraid all I've found was delicious pie and a very nice soap (and Regina! Hello, Lady Regina! We're friends now, we came in on the same day, together!).

Anywho. I am Solaire of Astora. Until I find the one who summoned me, I've applied to join the DoA! It's quite like my old covenant, the Warriors of Sunlight, except no one's hollow and everyone is kind of shockingly attractive? It's going to be a real distraction in a fight. As for fighting - I LOVE FIGHTING. I'm particularly fond of sword and shield, and of course I have a few knickknacks which help give me a boost when I need one. OH and don't worry - I'm not hollow any more, so there's absolutely NO CHANCE that I'd ever turn on you and kill you and eat you, not even if we were lost together in the wilderness and there was no game to hunt, probably. So that's good news!

Should I write about myself? Hmm. My favorite color is green, I've died about 3,456 times (I think, a few of them I was unconscious for, so I never know whether they count or not??) and I always have a bit of purple moss on me in case anyone gets poisoned. I like long walks on the hydra-infested beach, lonely dates on top of dim castle towers, and absolutely destroying evil wherever it's found. And peppermint! Peppermint is grand.

But most of all? Oh, how I love your sun. It's lovely. I could stare at it for hours, but I won't, because someone caught me doing that earlier and said I'd go blind, so. I'll just think about it a lot I suppose.

I find that i'm struggling now that Christmas was near. Now that I don't like this place, I just really miss my father and brother. Last Christmas was the first one without my mother and now this one is without them.

I have the guys here and the band with school to focus on, but I just miss my family.

Now, I have been teaching potions classes, as well as helping Zelda out with the administrative side of things, but I also run Cerberus Books, so my time is split between both locations. I would definitely appreciate any assistance in the day to day of running things.

It was just brought to my attention that it's Adam's (Milligan) birthday today, he's my brother. No, I didn't forget, I just didn't know and it's a long story. He doesn't have a ton of friends (according to him), so I wanted to invite everyone. I know it's a little last minute but I'm hoping at least a few people can make it. It's going to be a surprise, tonight at the bunker (our place) and there will be food and drinks. Though I will have to figure that out. If you're interested, just let me know so I can figure out how much shit to buy. Anyone is welcome, even if you just want to show up for the free food.

If any of the Star Wars people could show up, that would be SUPER awesome. He's a big fan.

Alas, Gideon the Hot was felled by a creature of meat and sinew and teeth, did I mention the fucking TEETH? I don't know how long the whitecoats are going to keep me in bed; I broke ummmm we'll go with A LOT of things. ON THE TEETH. Don't recommend it. At least I took one out. Dinosaurs, MORE LIKE WHINE-O-SAURS.

Did I mention I got the good drugs? Gideon got the good drugs. Friends, if you have not been eaten, visit. I am awash in a sea of self-pity, and I could use a tender bedside manner. The doctors here won't even let me do push ups because I'll "TEAR" something.

And someone needs to watch my ghost cat. He's liable to get lonely.

The last few weeks have been an emotional train ride-- what was the name of that big wheel at the fair? One of those. High highs, low lows. So in an effort to kick this funk I'm in, I'm inviting anyone who is interested to a highly fun game that I call "keep the ball away from Naga."

It's a large ball. And there could be licks and pounces involved, so it's not for the feint or people afraid of a little polar bear dog slobber. But she loves playing it and she could use some extra attention, too. So, who's in?

So I was out exploring and I found this weird...dog thing? Fox? Cat? I'm not sure. And it just started following me around and I think I own a weird dog-fox-cat-thing now?

It's very cute, so I'm not really complaining.

After much hard work preparing that everything is ready, and getting the staff ready and the menu perfected, I am pleased to say that Cerberus Books will finally be read to open this Saturday, August 29th. We will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM. Free coffee and cookies will be available, and we will have a full menu of drinks, snacks, burgers, soups, salads, and sandwiches available for purchase, as well. All books will be buy two, get one free. We will also be showing classic horror films in the viewing area all day long.

I am also looking to hire a few more staff members, and will be doing on the spot interviews.

I would like to thank all of my staff for working with me to help this happen. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

It would seem that I have been gifted with the family fortune. Zelda and I have set it up in a shared bank account, for us all to have access to. I do trust that it will be used responsibly.

IDK if they celebrate Halloween here or not but I'm going to find costumes for every single cat in the mortuary if it kills me.

Right. I'm Robin. Hi. This is weird, but it sucks less than where I was before so that's good, I guess. Has anyone seen a really pretty girl who is physically incapable of staying away from a dangerous mystery and a dumbass with great hair and no sense?

The ball was an absolute success, and I am so glad that everyone who attended had a wonderful time. I had missed being able to host parties like that, and it was great getting to see everyone enjoying themselves. I am especially thankful to Caroline and Genya in helping me out, as well as to everyone else who offered assistance.

I do hope that I'm able to host another party in the future.

Also, I have a bountiful amount of leftovers, if anyone wants some.

And in more happy news, the mice arrived to me this morning. They were disappointed to have missed the party, but I am happy to have them here with me.
