For as much as I love and appreciate the state of my family in my time, the chance to carry (and be able to carry; I am a weak wizard, please understand) sleeping children to bed has been a delight to get to do once more. I seem to have forgotten how to do some of the key voices during bedtime stories, though. The reviews have been harsh, but understandable.

Anyway, I would request to forgive the sap, but I have grown out of that with time and growth. This is what age does to a man.

I'm coming to understand that time travel is somehow achievable in this world? Surprises around every corner.

The new boss has suggested we join him and his person for dinner/company with people of a similar but different world at some point. My understanding is that they've been invaded by children, but I wanted to mention it so we could, I don't know--put it on a calendar?

Note that this is me attempting to get used to having a normal life again, rather than hiking across Faerûn and fighting for our lives and not having easy access to a bathtub.

Just a reminder that Mom's Lena's birthday is tomorrow! I made plans to take her out for a fancy dinner when it was meant to be just the two of us, but I called in and convinced them to add more seats. We've got a full house so I want to make sure everyone is available.

Before I landed in this world, I was stuck on a summer camp with some scary ass shit chasing me and my friends, with barely any signal or way to communicate with the outside world. Yes, I know, it's the most tropiest slasher/horror situation ever. But we all survived, no Final Girls here, but my usual horror stuff I used to like just doesn't do anything when you kind of went through some shit like that, you know?

That being said, I'm still planning on enjoying my Halloween the typical way with classic Halloween movies like Hocus Pocus but ALSO, looking for some recommendations.
