I'm coming to understand that time travel is somehow achievable in this world? Surprises around every corner.

ASTARION

The new boss has suggested we join him and his person for dinner/company with people of a similar but different world at some point. My understanding is that they've been invaded by children, but I wanted to mention it so we could, I don't know--put it on a calendar?

Note that this is me attempting to get used to having a normal life again, rather than hiking across Faerûn and fighting for our lives and not having easy access to a bathtub.

We might've found a world free of childish hangers-on, but I suppose that boat has sailed. I wouldn't mind learning more about that group, all the same. I've spoken with them a few times now - there are as many similarities as differences. Some even fought an Elder Brain.

So yes, as your beautiful trophy lover, I will attend this "dinner and/or company with people".

There's a calendar on my phone? Fuck me, I'm still trying to learn the months.

Thank you, darling. I had similar thoughts, though. It's interesting how similar their world seems, down to the mechanics of it. Gilmore is a sorcerer and though I can't ascertain what sort, much of what he does in how he casts and the sorts of spells he has available to him is familiar.

And I'm also unable to apologize for being both a magnet and having a weakness for small, potentially helpless children back home that need help. You may just have to accept this about me.

I keep getting caught up on if this month is truly called October or Spooky, as I keep hearing Spooky Month, too.

There's something nice about not having to explain everything. And none of them have offered to stake me, which is just like friendship.

I can plumb the depths of gratitude for the fact that we weren't gifted any children of our own with all this time travel nonsense. It isn't out of the question, after all.

	I believe it would be magic, but for all I know, it could have also involved Vallo's inate abilities too. They were taking a big risk though, with how things were going. They had lost too many people, magic was essentially incredibly risk to use. But a good chunk of people here and there managed to save the future, essentially. (Reply to this) (Parent)
