I would like to apologize to anyone who tried to check in on me this weekend. I had wanted to be alone, and Sutton Cottage was following my wishes.

I am [...] not used to having people who care about my well-being. Back home, I had spent most of my time alone with my books, and at the time, that had been enough for me. And so, it seems, I prefer to retreat back to them when things are difficult.

Thank you, all of you, for being my friend. I do appreciate your care and concern, even if I may not have seemed like it at the time. I will endeavour to not isolate myself again.

Maybe some kind of everyone brings a dish to pass sort of thing, just hang out and be together? With all those people disappearing, it's We could host it over here at our place, if you'd like, even.
