I remember that you said you were part of the Defense Force here in Vallo. I am looking to procure a few things for my own defense and preparations. Gunpowder, saltpeter, charcoal, and the like are at the top of my list, but I am open to substitutions. Would you know of where I could find such items?

If brainy types ever figure out a way to make it so we can choose to stay or go, throw something at me, I guess. Until then it's not fucking worth it.
