I take it you saw the most recent list of disappearances. Our clinic's namesake was among them - he founded and funded the clinic (granted, further funding was due to a combination of a lot of assistance) so we're kind of scrambling right now. Magical healing is great but we could use a doctor.

I can run things on an administrative level but I'm not an actual doctor and I was hoping you might want to step in there. Ravi also had basic first aid and sex ed classes going but I'll worry about those later.

Sometimes, being a hermit in your own slice of home is good. I've been so busy working or setting up my piece of New Asgard and it's been so nice to have that. I never appreciated it until I lost it.

So apparently I came into some kind of financial windfall. And because I apparently now let both of my sisters dictate my finances, I asked Velora what we should treat ourselves with given how everything has been latel and she immediately started to try to sell me on video games. I know next to nothing about them, but apparently she has a friend at school that is an expert and I find myself unable to say no to her when the pleading eyes started so long story short, we now own something called a Switch and I think it might be permanently attached to her hands based on how often she was playing it this weekend -- when she wasn't dressed as an armored bear to get candy, of course.

I'm predicting a future of restrictions and no video games until your chores are done kind of nonsense and I walked straight into it. Being the adult is hard work.

There are some really beautifully colored leaves on the ground! I've noticed some people are bagging them up? Which is fine, of course, but actually, the leaves are really good for plants! If they're shredded and left on the ground, worms will come and eat them, and a healthy garden has plenty of worms! Or you can use them to keep perennial bulbs and root vegetables warm during the winter. I liked to have a pile, and then in the spring when the leaves had decomposed, I would use them as food for the soil. A happy ground is a happy garden!

Which is a very silly statement and I can't really believe I've said that.

If I'm to get on in an entirely different world, I'm glad I can now do it with my best friend here.

He looks fierce but is generally quite friendly. Calenhad is a mabari, which means he is as smart as most people. He understands Trade and Orlesian, but he only speaks Dog.

To go along with this whole acceptance thing--which I'd like to say I still kind of hate but progress or whatever--I was thinking of opening up Pandemonium for tours or something, if people want to see what its like. Or borrow some books from the extensive libraries or if anyone wants to burn some more of the Dark Lord's items--I highly recommend that one. It's Therapeutic with a capital T. Also smashing things is fun.

Just fair warning, its not the easiest place to hang out in with that whole 'being Hell's palace' thing. Dark, foreboding, awfulness is pretty much its constant vibe.

On a more fun note, roller skating? Anyone up for that again?

I can't say I'm too familiar with other world events, but I promise I am trying to get a handle on them. Satinalia was explained to me during the day and I felt I needed to make a contribution. I'm not generally one to curse, but it seems important to get into the spirit and celebrate the Fool. King Fool? King Toph the Fool? What is the correct address?

But anyway, if you'd like to get off your deep-fried fluffernutter tomorrow morning, I'll be introducing a few new flavors to celebrate the month of giving and harvest here in Vallo. I'll have some turkey cranberry bagels, a version of the Everything Bagel made of stuffing ingredients, and I've worked out a green bean casserole type that have to be served with the appropriate spread, but I hope you'll give it a try. If you have harvest festivals from your worlds, please let me know if there's traditional flavors you're used to and I'll see what I can do this month!
