This is a stupid day -

Even with the advertisements, the skies in our area of the forest, and such, this is a taste of home that I wouldn't have truly anticipated, even if it is only for one day. I had assumed that my life would be spent in Rosohna and doing my errands without added protections would never be something I would feel that I took for granted, and yet here we are.

It is not an altogether unexpected thing to miss from home, but I suppose I have gotten used to life as normal here.

Which is to say, should there be anything that you would need picked up, please let me know. I foresee being out and about for a while today.

I am currently accepting volunteers to bring me beef jerky, cheez whiz, and fish tacos. I also wouldn't say no to jalapeno poppers. And one or three of those big cups of frozen fruity drink? I can't remember what they're called. Slooshes???

I don't want to be a negative person and I know I haven't been here long but should we be worried the sun hasn't risen?

I don't mean to alarm anyone on top of the random failure of the sun, but there's a violent man wearing a facemask with a silver arm running around too. He was trying to kill another man before I stepped in. I didn't get his name.

Get the first aid kit ready? Oh and if you hear panic in people's voices today, it's because the sun didn't rise. I'm sure it'll be back tomorrow, but who knows with this place.

I feel like Moon Day makes me want to do moon art. Anyone wanna do paper-mache moons? Or clay. I mean, when we're done rollerskating. It can be tomorrow.

Also, I just found this and this which are funny. I was trying to see if there was any funny videos about the moon.

So Moon Day really exists and isn't a practical joke by the locals, who'd have thought? Sounds like an interesting day for stargazing but I think I'll be lazy and stay on the sofa.

For anyone looking for something to do tonight, the Vallo Symphony Orchestra is doing a free performance at the outdoor pavilion for Moon Day. Seating space is limited and largely first-come-first-serve, but there's a hill behind it that can set more people to listen. Show starts at 6.
