FILTERED TO CHAOS CREW.

I had a change of heart recently and thought burning my brother's journals, literally, which have been burning a hole in my mind, figuratively, would help with the intense desire I have felt to read them as of late. But it is raining and burning a book inside the train seems ill-advised given children. I'm taking the rain as a sign that I should wait on the burning.

And I have moved them to a child-proof location in Evie's quarters in case Graciela decides to start teething on one.

Right. So I know everyone probably says "I need to go back" because who wouldn't, right? But here's the thing... I really need to get back. Like really really. So on the off chance someone's just been, you know, holding out on the whole getting out of this universe thing now's the time to speak up.

PSA: make sure you know the person you're handing off your kid to because Finn was taken by a total goddamn stranger in a copy of Teela's meatskin. Was it only a ten-minute kidnapping? Sure, but who gives a shit. Longest ten minutes of our lives, and Finn's fine, and I am waffling back and forth between 'it could have been worse!!!' and unfiltered RAGE and wanting to shred someone's face into ribbons. I'm not emotionally qualified to handle any of this without attempted murder but Real Teela and Adam talked to the culprit. It was some sad shapeshifting old lady. Some kind of authority, please go get her before I choose violence.

Hey so, friendly (if you want the not-friendly version you have to pay extra) reminder that there's a Death Club (clever, right?) at the DOA building every other Wednesday evening. Dead? Dying? Previously dead? Resurrected? Dead at home? Surrounded by a ton of people who have died? Need somewhere to just... vent or talk or listen about death? Come on by.

We don't judge or make you fill out some long questionnaire to prove you're "dead enough" or whatever. It's a fairly chill group where people talk about their experiences, listen to others, offer advice and help, and a path forward to figure out how to get out of that stupid slog that comes after. Outlanders and Natives are both welcome, you'd be surprised how many Natives have been yanked back to life with the amount of necromancers running around. The survivor guilt/"why me"/"what the fuck" combo is pretty universal.

And there's free coffee and pastries.

*Disclaimer: I am not a therapist or doctor and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, but we have one on hand for meetings if you need some one-on-one time or something with a bit more structure.

YO. I've been thinking that we should set up a standing jam session. I mean, as standing as it can be with Vallo doing what Vallo does. We have some leads on other people interested in the band, so we could get them in, too, see how they vibe. As much as I enjoy peddling smutty books, I need more music in my life here.

Fight Club is always a good time and I look forward to it every month, but it's probably not too wild of me to say that last night was especially good. I'm hoping that it'll mean I get to add a few sparring partners to my list of go-tos and for future rematches to look forward to.

Look, I know a lot of us aren't supposed to be this age normally but we are and we're here for fuck knows how long so I think we need to have some kind of get together. A party, as it were.

Thing is, I have plenty of money for things like food and drinks and shit, but I don't really have a place. I awakened this morning to discover that my husband is thirteen years older and has no recollection of Vallo. Is anyone experiencing similar difficulties?

I've spent the last 542 hours devising a plan to prevent what happened in Shit Future from happening here. I plotted instead of watching a lot of really good media, which should indicate the seriousness with which I take your continued breathing. We're going to address this threat with multiple levels of response: 1) we fix the faulty port traditionally used for hacking (sayonara shithead), 2) we create a new, quarantined module for the implementation of downloads and updates so that they'll be assessed for murdery vibes prior to installation, and 3) if that fails, a killswitch to power me down remotely. I'm giving it to Morgan.

There, I did it, I figured it out, the future won't happen, my carbon-based parts can stop producing stress hormones any time now.
