Good morning, fellow Outlanders,

I have been informed it is customary to introduce oneself to the community here. It is a fascinating thing, truly. The closest comparison I could find was a Stolas, though they are not nearly as complex as this appears to be. Instant communication to others in the palm of one's hand, how much grief this could have saved on many of my journeys.

I am Joshua Rosfield. I found myself upon your shores yesterday and one of yours, Thor, was kind enough to
assist me in getting my bearings.

So far what I have learned of your Vallo, it seems quite different than Valisthea where I am from, though I imagine that must be the same for more than a few of you as well. It was mentioned that the worlds we all come from are quite varied, I would be curious to hear about some of them.

Thor has let me know that our leaving here is something out of our control, and while I admit that fills be with no small amount of trepidation, I have been told many of you have used this opportunity to carve out new lives. I commend you all for such perseverance.

I am very much looking forward to learning more of you all, and of Vallo in general.

The smell has to be the worst part of cleaning up after a flood. I thought I'd gone noseblind to it years ago, but apparently I took enough of a break that a swamp smells like a damned swamp again.

Anybody else here play Wagon Age: Oregon? I'm trying to decide if I should romance the chirpy blond who ran away from his southern family and joined the Union army or the sexy outlaw who came west to escape his past, and I need to make sure I get a happy ending.

If you've never played Wagon Age: Oregon, it's a great game and you should play it. The plot is engaging, the combat is fun (if not particularly challenging), and the characters are great. Just go in knowing that it's a little older, so the story is better than the graphics. I haven't gotten to Wagon Age 2 or Wagon Age: Exhibition, so I can't speak to the series as a whole, but this starter is fantastic.

Caught a fish today claiming to be the Salmon of Knowledge. I quickly noticed problems with this assertion:

- If a fish held all worldly knowledge, you'd think it would know how to avoid obvious bait.
- It wasn't even a salmon.

I called the fish a liar, and the fish insisted "it was just a prank, bro" and then suggested that essential oils would cure my arthritis. I suggested that the Bass of Bullshit would be delicious simmered in a tomato sauce.

I decided to throw it back instead, just in case the bullshit is catching. So, keep an eye out for that one if you're fishing off New Asgard.

With things going the way they have, Lee and I decided that we're just gonna go ahead and get married. July 2nd at the townhouse, figure about 4 pm and then celebrate it up.

The website list thing said usually invitations are sent out but this was quicklike so hope this works. Just bring yourselves.

I have the duty of making sure the adults are well taken care of. Can I go through you for some ale and wine for the guests?

I know these hands are terrible. Definitely gross. Probably annoying.

But Deathripper is just so violently happy? It's hard not to be happy for him? Living his best helhound life, sometimes with a sibling team up. He's the best boy.

What is a bagel?

I fear Freya has fallen ill, due to Vallo's latest shenanigans. We were in my mother's gardens at the Asgardian palace when some climbing roses attacked from nowhere. Freya moved to get Torunn out of danger and was pricked by roses herself.

We dispatched the rest of the roses, but Freya will not wake. We moved her to a bedchamber nearby, but I ask that her family come to visit her and see what they may be able to do or perhaps I can bring her to her home? Whatever is easiest. But someone come kiss her please.

So what's the deal here - you miss one thing you get hit by the other? Because some of y'all were looking like you were having a grand ol' time chasing around guys with giant swords and making crafts, and if I missed that and get hit with grow four extra limbs in weird places or suddenly turn twenty feet tall instead I'm gonna be a little sad.

Well... that was fun? Nothing like waking up in pajamas' many sizes too small for you.
I think I have a hangover, but like a time hangover. Is that a thing? It feels like a thing. It's definitely a thing.

i have spent the last day sobering up and reflecting on my actions over the last couple of days.

i was foolish. and rash. and very emotional. the raincloud following me around gave that part away, i suppose. but i apologize to all of you because i realize after jacob's lecture that i was being selfish and entitled and that you are all very good people that were only trying to help.

so i have killed a few boars for you and your families in penance and am working on cooking the meat as i speak. i will come visit your homes shortly with my apologies in person, unless you would prefer i never speak to you again!

hello. thank you for your hospitality, but i am feeling very useless and that is not a great feeling. SO! are there any blood feuds that i can help? quests? duties of older me?

I suppose that it's high time I've introduced myself on this, though I'm not so sure that now's the best time. I understand that events like... this happen often here though, so perhaps it is.

I'm Tom Badgerlock. I arrived here about a week and a half ago, and have spent the last week acquainting myself with... all of this. It's all very different than where I'm from, but I think I've been getting the lay of the land.

I also suspect the money I was given on my arrival won't last too terribly long, so if anyone has any work, I would be grateful for it. I can do scribe work, though I don't suppose I'll be able to try my hand at creating inks for it without better acquainting myself with the local flora. I've done work in the past as a farmhand, and can do manual labour. Most recently I was employed as the valet and bodyguard of a particular lord, and then was recruited into the Queen's guard. I'm most proficient with an axe, though I can use a sword if necessary.

i require MEAD. however much a pouch full of gold coin or a favor from a son of odin will get me. i have none of your fancy paper bills or cards of credit so do not ask for any.

This loud little bloke strolled right into Puddifoot's with me yesterday morning, then followed me straight home after I'd gone through the books. He's officially been here twenty-four hours, has made himself comfortable at the window, and refuses to be shooed away. I suppose that means I have no choice but to accept I have a cat now.



My ears will never be the same. I haven't figured a name yet, but whatever it is should be a comment on his volume, I think.

PEOPLE oh my god!! I was over on Wide Street (or ~Rue Grand~ as the theatre people call it) to get those super fancy pastries after training, and I found out that Rogers: The Musical is coming to Vallo!

This is crucial information, and I don't know how I missed the advertising, but ANYWAY. The show was a massive hit back home before I ended up here, and if you're considering seeing it, YOU SHOULD. It's a little ridiculous and not super historically accurate, but it's fun!

(Also, Steve, I asked, and they said they'd LOVE to have you whenever you want and you obviously get in free. I'm guessing that'd probably be true for the rest of the Avengers here, too!)
