i have spent the last day sobering up and reflecting on my actions over the last couple of days.

i was foolish. and rash. and very emotional. the raincloud following me around gave that part away, i suppose. but i apologize to all of you because i realize ~~after jacob's lecture~~ that i was being selfish and entitled and that you are all very good people that were only trying to help.

so i have killed a few boars for you and your families in penance and am working on cooking the meat as i speak. i will come visit your homes shortly with my apologies in person, unless you would prefer i never speak to you again!

Buddy, you were in a new place with no idea how or why it happened. I don't blame you for being a little emotional. But I owe you an apology, for not correcting you when you thought I was a Valkyrie. I took advantage because I thought it would make you trust me faster, and that wasn't fair.

So, if you're good, I'm good. The boar sounds great, and I appreciate it. I'll have to scour the internet for some good recipes.

you're very kind carol danvers but i was very emotional about it. valkyries...they are legends. elite warriors of asgard that have my utmost respect. i was sensitive about the whole situation because frankly, they are my heroes. i want to be like them. and you embodied their spirit well with how swiftly you put me on my ass. i should not have made that assumption.

but i agree to a clean slate if that is what you would like as well! i'll bring the boar as soon as it is ready.

I understand. Trust me, I've spent enough time with Valkyrie back home that I realize how incredible she is and why you respect them as much as you do. I definitely took it as a compliment that you saw me that way, but it wasn't right for me to let you assume I was one for my own selfish interest. I understand why it upset you.

I would love a clean slate and the boar. I'll introduce you to my wife when you come by.
