The twins have declared they are now dogs 'like daddy' and won't stop crawling around, barking, or trying to eat the dogs food. I can't convince them this won't change them into dogs. The actual dogs think this is great, and Isis is two seconds from slapping everyone. So now I'm pretending we have two 'new' dogs. I'm hoping if I keep talking about how it's doggy bath day, and how dogs don't get snacks or mac and cheese, they'll give this up by supper time.

Also in honor of Gideon Nav I want to restart the Queer Women With Sharp Weapons group. Maybe next Saturday afternoon? Here are some questions that were usually asked.

Q. What do you define as queer?
A. Whatever is in your heart is appropriate, no one defines you (and if they try to, let me know, will use that step on me energy and literally step on them)

Q. What do you define as a sharp weapon?
A. Traditionally this has been anything sharp that can be thrown or used to stab or slice or chop. But be creative! Why not.

Q. I've never used a sharp weapon but I am queer and am interested is that okay?
A. Of course. Someone will teach you, I am sure.

Q. Will there be drinks after?
A. In fact, there will.

I'm posting this because it seems to be a reoccurring theme on searches these past few days.

There's nothing wrong with being gay, or bisexual, or any other damn type of sexuality you identify as or are still trying to figure out if you identify as.

If it helps at all, there are a lot of people here who open about their sexuality, and at least some of us are more than willing to be someone to talk to. Reaching out is scary, I get that. But when you're ready, we're here.

If anyone makes you feel less than, or if someone judges you based on that, know that there's a special place in hell for them. Not the other way around. Celestials/gods/whatever you believe in don't give a shit who you love.

And Girl, Interrupted is a solid 90s movie. But that's like ancient history for me, so please debate.

Save for the threat of bodily harm my bargaining and negotiation skills have never been the greatest. I have to go to the Night Market, I've only been there once before and it was an experience. Some people were bargaining with jewels and someone had a pair of cartoon socks. I'll never take tapping my card for granted again.

Anyone know what's up with the sudden glacier showing up off the coast? We spotted it after my new Monday morning ritual of getting kidnapped by a winged horse and getting flown over water as a scare tactic. There's music coming from it too - we didn't land on it because a) it was cold and b) it felt like magic and I don't mess with that unless I know for sure it's not a trap or hostile.

I don't know what's more stressful, trying to wash exploded jello monsters out of your hair and clothes, or planning a birthday party for two year olds, that will have other two year olds adding to the chaos, or the man guy you thought you'd never see again after he was murdered show up. It should be the party, but these monsters are holding their own.

Just a heads up Keith and I came across some weird like... giant jello monsters? Out on patrol this morning. Which is kind of equal parts gross and fascinating, but neither of us have seen them kicking around before so maybe it's a new Vallo being Vallo thing. Anyways... one went down pretty easy with physical attacks and one we had to set on fire so not really sure what the rules are here on these ones - but keep an eye out!

Summer Solstice is on the 21. Solstice beach party on the 20 to ring in the warmer season, since city celebrations will be in full swing on the actual day.

Swimming, surfing, cliff jumping, music, drinks, food, and a bonfire once the sun starts to set. Open to locals if you know them.

MAGIC USERS & SHANG-CHI

If you didn't notice this post, there's a dragon typically draws magic from his home world here, and she doesn't have a strong enough connection to sustain herself.

I've been speaking with with Prigany, Enki, and The Clave, and after consulting with some of their members I think I have a spell that will allow her to connect to Vallo itself, but I can't complete it alone. Rhysh is in, but I need three more people to get this done. Any volunteers?

On the same note, if anyone is willing to channel some magic into the dragon, maybe a schedule, that might help her general state of health until we can get this done. I think I was able to help her a little the other night, but it will only last for so long.

So it's been a minute since I've been on here, but I've been busy trying to figure out what to do with this martial arts school my sister wanted to start and I was helping with, as well as keeping the Great Protector happy. That's why I thought the fatigue I was feeling was more to do with me overloading myself than anything else.

But today I woke up and I'm, um, gray? And I can barely keep my eyes open and I have no idea if this has anything to do with my connection with the Great Protector, but Zumulong is quieter...smaller than she normally is and I think it might? Roz discovered that we're connected and she was connected to my sister as well, using us to sustain her here in Vallo without Ta Lo around.

With my sister gone though, I don't think I'm enough and I need some help figuring out a solution here.

I'M DEFINITELY NOT IN NEPTUNE ANYMORE.

In light of recent events causing some dramatic changes in my life, I'll be stepping away from my position at Geliara, and will not be returning in the fall. Additionally, I'll be hiring a full time manager to run Uncommon Goods for me, and will be shifting my focus to the DOA. I'll still be involved in the shop, should anyone need anything, but less hands on. This way I can have more time at home.

I'll be continuing my work with the local covens, and Outlander coven in a more full time capacity, while also acting as a representative of Outlander magic-users with the Vallo government. You can find me at the DOA offices full time now.

I know many of you are concerned over the current state of things, but rest assured that things should be set to rights shortly. To keep all of you updated: Gansey and I have been able to pinpoint what went wrong with the original spell, and have helped Pixie reverse the spell in Thor. We're currently trying to find a solution to have the reversal spell work on a mass scale, but I'm relatively confident that we'll be able to have it figured in short order.
