I wish to publicly express my gratitude to the Covens and Department of Outlander Affairs for their swift and effective response to the flood. While Cloud Recesses is on high ground and was largely untouched, the Art of Expression Vallo City location suffered greatly from water damage. Most of our photography and electronic art equipment was there, and we feared that it would be unsalvageable. While there are yet items that cannot be replaced, the majority of our computers and shared photography equipment will yet rise from the ashes thanks to the aid of science, magic, and dedicated volunteers.

My eternal thanks to all who assisted.

After all the crazy this month, I sort of figured we could all use some silliness to cool down. But this time, instead of "today is [insert random holiday here]", you get a mini-survey! (Thank Google, even my brain couldn't come up with all these.)

To whoever sent the edible arrangement, please know that was incredibly thoughtful of you. Really, just so selfless and kind. I have a feeling it was sent from someone who is only soft and truly considers me to be a close, loving friend and confidante. Rest assured that Trinket and I ate the shit out of it.

Anyway, I'm truly bored. I don't know what was promised to Rodrigo, but I have never been bossed around more by an Unseen Servant. Tell me tales of the outside, because I fear I'll be laid up in this bed forever, if this floating vest has anything to say about it.





And, you know, kraken fucking suck and yeah okay thanks, Diego, for making sure I didn't get eaten by one for the second time in my bloody existence and have to have another meeting with my goddess. Also trying to decide if this means I should eat more or less seafood?

The smell has to be the worst part of cleaning up after a flood. I thought I'd gone noseblind to it years ago, but apparently I took enough of a break that a swamp smells like a damned swamp again.
