I tried to make a sappy post here for my husband's birthday* but it just derailed into things that shouldn't be said in public so instead we're going with a generic everyone wish Bucky a Happy Birthday.

We're just hanging around the house for it, but there will be cake at brunch this weekend.

The magic symposium was a delight, if I might say. I will always appreciate the sheer diversity of magic that I've had the luxury of witnessing since arriving in Vallo, both through the native magic of this world and that brought by other Outlanders. It is always fascinating and it was nice to have an event such as this to have yet another avenue to appreciate it.

And if you missed Professor Widogast's discussion on his specialties, well. You certainly missed out.

Compliments aside, between the symposium and the recent coven meeting, I am rather looking forward to gardening this season, plotting things out, choosing vegetables (now is the time to speak up on tastes and preferences, those who live with and around me), starting seeds to germinate--which is yet another sentence that strikes me as one that I never would have thought a couple of years ago, mundane though it might be. Here we are, hm.

Just putting it out there that this weekend is the opening weekend for Carpe Noctem. Hopefully we'll see you there. 18+ only. I will have wards up to keep anyone younger out. I also reserve the right to tell you to fuck off if you make my staff uncomfortable.

I like how we can talk about magic so openly here. The magic party was really cool! If we talked during the party, I want to tell you I'm super excited!! But I had to go home early, I had a tummyache some stuff to do.

Got a memory dump that put me over 18 a few months later.

Showed up here a few months after that but right before my birthday, two years ago now.

Last year nothing eventful happened, had a regular birthday.

Got booted back home a few months ago, came back with 6 months back home but only 3 months passed here, the week before my birthday.

How old am I? This is like the weirdest fucked up riddle.
