This has been my second Christmas in Vallo. While there have been some challenges, there has been a lot of joy as well. I'm thankful for everyone that has been a part of my time here and I have no regrets or complaints about being in this time, in this place. And as such, I'll note we're once again putting the final wrap on another year, hopefully with an even brighter future ahead of us. This year I think gave a lot of us greater insight into those futures, too, so think of a step forward as progress towards that.
I'd like to invite you all to a New Year's Eve celebration at the Wilson household - it's not my place, but Sam has given me the go-ahead to write the invitation. There won't be any magic rooms or gardens to worry about, but I'll try to be as good a host as Doctor Strange. No gifts or expectations, you can leave early if you'd like. Or stay in ring in the the next year with us. I'll be working with our resident fireworks experts - BOB is a pleasant conversationalist, by the way - to ensure there's at least a bit of a show at midnight.
You're welcome to bring finger foods or contribute to the drinks on hand, I can only afford so much from Torunn's meadery. But I'm looking forward to seeing you all. Friends and family, you're on mandatory notice - I would very much like an opportunity to spend time with you.
