I went to get my breakfast burrito after my breakfast bagel and while eating my red velvet Pop-Tarts I kid you not it rained blue raspberry Sour Patch Kids. Only for a little bit, but it was so cool!

I'm a little worried for the birds and animals if this keeps up???

And if Lemonheads happen next, that could really hurt???

Not too long ago, I was talking to family and friends about getting a game of Quidditch going thanks to what my brothers and I could salvage from our old broom shed and Grimmauld Place. The brooms are old, but still mostly in good use and the rest of the equipment is...temperamental, but it makes for a more exciting game. If anyone's interested in joining us, I'm looking at Sunday for a game at the Burrow.

Come around noon, we'll have some snacks and beer too. And come a little earlier, if you want to figure out how to fly on these brooms and/or have the rules explained to you. Thanks to Remus Lupin, we were able to enchant them to work for non-magical and other magical types too, so anyone can play. Underage folks, please okay it with your parents and guardians before you show up. Quidditch can result in serious injuries and we're going to be playing with Bludgers. Beaters will be doing their best to knock people off their brooms.

A week ago, I reached my thirty-fifth year. I've found myself thinking about this birthday more than most of my others, largely because it's one that for such a long time I did not expect to see.

Templars don't tend to last long. They die in battle, or lyrium takes their mind, or they're ejected from the order and withdrawal from lyrium takes their mind and body both. A Templar who reaches forty is considered one of the old officers, and I never saw myself becoming one of those.

And yet, here I am. Not only alive, but not staring down a tunnel at inevitable madness or physical deterioration. Doing work that doesn't promise to turn bad or hurt anyone. I have dogs and a girlfriend. This life is so good that I occasionally have to go out and run until I'm soaked through with sweat and on the edge of collapse just to convince myself that it's all real.

Hopefully by thirty-six the strangeness of continuing to live will have worn off a bit.

I guess spending my birthday here isn't so bad.

Though arriving a fair few days earlier, I fear I've put off customary introductions in favor of mastering this unusual device used in place of paper and pen and unfortunate puppetry as to make a decent showing.
