Valentine's day always fascinated me as a Midgardian concept. The idea that some figure takes it upon itself to push two people together for no apparent reason is almost inspiring and oddly disturbing in the same thought. While I can sympathise with loneliness, is it often so much that you would be quite happy to be paired with somebody completely random?

Twenty-eight years ago, I was born. Lucky for all, that event was softened by the most wonderful Vex'ahlia's arrival a handful of minutes later.

My birthday wish is that everyone that reads this takes a little bit of time for themselves today. Some suggestions: Read a book. Have pizza for breakfast. Sharpen your daggers. Throw them at the wall so they don't get bored. Tie the laces of all your sister's shoes (yes, the sister you just talked up) together. Go to Glorious Purveyors and buy yourself something, then tell Gilmore that Vax sent you so he knows just how good I am now at advertising. Drink some tea.

That's all. I don't ask for much, really.

Well, the foray into cozy knitwear (expertly crafted by one Blue Sargent; get yours today) and tasty hot beverages has been largely pleasant, but I must say - I miss warm weather. Growing up in Quur (sweltering on a chilly day) did me no favors in terms of my temperature regulation, and I've been a bit off since Dark Vallo (is that what we're calling it?). I hope I'm not coming down with something.

And no, I haven't "touch the thing" and "received the stuff".

Hello; you asked to be notified when my report on our mutual snow globe adventure was complete, and you'll see it attached thusly. If you're like me and would prefer a physical copy to mark the hell up, that can be arranged. I'd like to thank one Gansey for his fantastic portion on the experience on this side of the divide, as well as everyone who allowed me to interview them for the purposes of record and history.

The last section is my own suppositions about the pocket universe and how it came to be. It's largely supposition and theory, but I've made reference to other tomes that support my thoughts as needed.

Let's not do any of that again.

There were many heroes in Dark Vallo, but both of you were instrumental in keeping morale up. As someone who has some personal experience dealing with pocket universes, it could have gone so much worse than it did were it not for your quick thinking and stepping up. Let me know if you have any questions or anything you'd like to discuss further, and feel free to disseminate this throughout the Defense Department or otherwise as you wish. There's a summary in the front of foes fought and some of the magic theory's been abridged for wide consumption.

Hello, Network of Vallo at whole! I had an inquiry and I suppose a request to make.

You see, this world of yours is very flammable. That was never entirely a problem in the Underworld as most things were made of stone or simply unaffected by me, but I happen to have a pair of feet that are a little on fire as a general rule of things. The overworld is much more cold than I expected in many ways and I would like to be able to sleep in a bed without burning it or leaving marks.

If anybody has any suggestions or help they can offer, I would be very grateful!
