All my life (or, well, the last few months of it anyway. The Horde didn't really have much in the way of musical instruments) I've wanted to learn how to play the piano, and I've decided this year is my year! Bring it on!

I've gone out and bought a keyboard (because wow actual pianos are really expensive) and a bunch of music books (though, I don't really know how to read music just yet. I'll learn though!)

It's really coming along though! I've been playing all night! I can't seem to find any lessons about how to play piano without fingers though, so of anyone has any tips for that I'd appreciate it.

Hey everyone! I know I haven't gotten much of a chance to meet most of you yet, though I'm hoping that's about to change! It's my birthday next week, on the 23rd, and I thought that seemed like a good opportunity to get to meet some of you!

Alright, listen up - I'm throwing the Hearty 'Bye Singledom' Party on behalf of our favorite aliens, Catra and Adora, who are shackling themselves together in holy matrimony very soon. This Thursday it's gonna be low key - come to Skyhold, we're making cheese. Legit cheese, in honor of the cheesy holiday shit we just endured, their love for each other, my love for them, and our love for pizza.

We will be making pizza with that cheese. In the wood-fired ovens it's very chef's kiss too.

So yeah, there will be pizza, video games, card games where you can lose all your money and donate it to the brides, a stripper's pole, and a story of their courtship told in eight different cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Be there or be a loser (and that's loser with a lowercase L).

I know this is probably a dumb question, but what do you say for vows? Like, wedding vows? Most of my Google searches show religious stuff, and we didn't really do religion in the Horde. Or on Etheria, that I know of.

Look, don't judge me. I'm doing my job.

Because my boss can't rub two brain cells together I've been put in charge of the holiday adoption - again. We're doing the 'Pawliday Wishes' these fucking PUNS all day today at the mall and throughout the month to get furballs out of the shelter. Show up and adopt something. Gonna just walk through and window shop on strays and talk about how cute they are and go home without them? Shame on you, you're dead to me and your Christmas spirit is fake.

We won't say no to volunteers but remember that you're not getting paid, though the cuddles you get in exchange (not from me, don't touch me just because I have cute ears) are worth it.

And for people who already have pets - yes, there is a Santa that your dog/cat/goat/goblin can take pictures with. Here's a sample. They make good holiday cards or whatever. Proceeds go to the shelter.

Questions? Complaints? Concerns? Too bad. I don't care. :)

Twelve days until the wedding!!!! I'm not freaking out at all.

Even if you didn't get one of my soon-to-be wife's unique wedding invitations, feel free to come out to the reception! December 19th, starting at 6:30 that evening. It's going to be fun! Lots of good food and music (hopefully). We'll even have a vegetarian option for the main course, PLUS, cake and s'mores for dessert.



Also, I'm not really in prolific speech mode, but if there are any new Outlanders out there who want to sign up for Defense, let me know! I'm Team C's coordinator and our numbers have dwindled lately; we could use a few more people to even things out. Because...America, or something - right, Steve?

Prigany's full moon shindig last month was pretty cool and if you came out I saw you, 'sup,' hope you had fun. This month they're obviously doing Yule 'cause...Yule. They're celebrating rebirth and bringing light to dark situations - and doing a tree decorating thing that's open to everyone, and everyone's welcome to put seasonal berry garlands on there and also add an item or two symbolizing something you want to bring into your life.

It's a huge-ass tree, so it'll work. Just don't put anything dirty on there if you want to bring more orgies into your life 'cause Destiny will probably turn you into a chili pepper dick (NSFW!) and think it's funny.

Their readings at the traveling market for December are mostly focused on three things - what you're supposed to leave behind in this current year, a gift that's hidden in plain sight, and an intention to grow something in the new year. They expect to be busier than usual so I'll be helping with uhhhhhh doing psychography stuff too? Oh, and they totally have the chocolate tarot cards again also - those are baller.

I can't claim this is the first time I've been unexpectedly sent to a different dimension, but this is the first time I haven't really seen a clear way home, so I should make the best of it while I'm here. Honestly, as far as unfamiliar dimensions go, this one isn't bad. At least it doesn't seem to be one dimensional.

Has anyone else come across a really aggressive unicorn today? I guess maybe I got too used to Swift Wind because I tried to go up and pet it, and it literally tried to stab me with its horn.

The dates are little fuzzy because Dark Vallo was a living nightmare and what is time, but I think it's been roughly a year since I've arrived in a version of Vallo.
