Back home my mama's people would have a laidback dinner to wrap up on the equinox celebrations on the Sunday evening closest. Figured some of those traditions might be worth doing here, honoring having those bonds and all.

So Sunday evening. My place if you don't have anything else going on. Bring a dish to pass maybe? Figured Willa and I might make my mama's fried chicken recipe and a vegan option for those who don't eat meat. I'll take suggestions though.

Please feel free to bring girlfriends if anyone would be interested. Today is the opening day of the Equinox festivals and something slower paced tonight sounds nice (to me at least).

Hello Vallo. I realize I tend to post on the network as an omen of something going awry, and sadly, that continues to be the case: it appears that magic is currently malfunctioning in some capacity. Yesterday, the wards on the Lighthouse were corrupted while I was inside (yes, I am now a month older than I was, no, I do not wish to talk about it), and on top of that an Outlander's magical experiment ended badly enough that they were injured quite severely. As the Outlander in question is skilled in that experimental area, I urge all of you to take this potential problem seriously. Please check your wards, your charms, your illusions, all manner of security, and report back if there is an issue. I advise you to do this for the next few days.

It may be related to our visiting ball friends (a phrase I did not expect to write), or possibly even remnants from the Inheritus challenge of last month. It might just be mere coincidence. But we all know what letting our guards down entails, so I urge you to practice vigilance and thoughtfulness in the days ahead while we work this problem.

The covens have been notified (thank you, Bonnie) and we will be working with them moving forward in the event that this issue continues.

I believe she's all informed you of the issues she's having with certain members of the Vorerra Coven. We'll be having a mediation meeting with their lawyers soon and for that to go well for her, I need character references from those closest to her. As her friends, family, and teachers, you all fit the bill.

I have attached a do's and don'ts of writing this character reference, as well as the a list of the charges that Rosalind is facing. If you need assistance with them, please reach out to me. Once you have something drafted, I'm going to ask to proofread it, before sending it back and asking you to get it notarized. I have a list of notaries that will do it at no cost to you, just let them know to bill Regina Mills.

I will need the drafts by Saturday afternoon. If you're unable to help, please let me know as soon as possible.

Hello Outlanders! I'm Jory. I've been dipping my toes in on your network for the last month and I think it's about time I sent out an invite to my favorite place in the world - Infinite Green. So this is going to be a little awkward, but I hope you'll bear with me for a few minutes. I'm a witch in the Ankou coven and I have a weird personal situation that sort of applies to you all? Well, only if you want it to apply to you anyway.

About four months ago, I was a part of a seance to connect with a murdered werewolf to try and give him peace. The way our mediumship works in Ankou, we get a sort of soulbond going during a seance and take on thoughts, feelings, and abilities of the spirits we connect with. I screwed up Something went wrong in my seance and now I can't shake this stubborn guy. I'm not a werewolf, but I often get the emotions of one and sometimes some of the physical qualities. Strength, speed, sense of smell, the occasional growl that startles the crap out of my hedgehog, that kind of thing. I'm adjusting at this point and it's mainly just full moon discomfort and some outbursts I have to apologize for. Nothing like what real werewolves have to deal with, that's for sure, but it does give me a glimpse into the kind of life some of you live.

So why am I bugging you? Well, our coven is trying to increase our outreach to outsiders, particularly supernatural groups. I've been semi-officially named the were/shifter liaison. I have ZERO idea what I'm doing and have no ambition either. But I'd like to get to know you all better, maybe find a way for my coven to connect with you and offer our friendship and aid. And our really great block parties? Okay, that's it! Thanks if you read this far. I tried like twelve times to cut this down to something more reasonable but it just wasn't happening. Hit me up if you want to talk or just come by the nursery.

Well, I for one don't mind seeing summer drift into autumn - Vallo's weather wasn't quite as hot as home, but that hardly matters when fall - the objectively best season - is on its way (I will acknowledge no counter-arguments.)

Quur was a tropical climate; it was either baking heat or monsoon season. I had the brilliant idea as a small child to wear black as my signature color and I stuck to this notion through most of my teens and early 20s. Literally, I stuck to it. It was unpleasantly hot enough that I stuck to most of my clothes despite the odd cooling charms and my preference for shaded libraries and damp stone alcoves. And that was in the coldest part of the year!

But now...! Delightful. And I've noted that the bakeries and coffee shops have already begun to sell their autumnal offerings. Hello, hello. I can't help it; it's like a warm hug, or a letter from a friend you haven't seen in months, or a forbidden book of arcane magics once thought lost turning up at last. Wonderful! I may even leave my office and socialize to enjoy all of this.
