The same company that some of us Outlanders performed with during the summer is going to be holding auditions for Into the Woods Oct 1 to 4!!

It was a lot of fun last time and this looks like it'll need an even bigger cast!

Also if you see this dog running around in the forest, he's harmless and just stretching his legs. He does like head rubs and playing fetch and goes by Tywyllwch.

Tomorrow is our monthly magic group meeting. It's going to be happening at the stone circle in the forest near the Geliara Academy.

I managed to get representatives from the Geliara and Prigany covens to come to see some of the things we're doing and possibly share stuff too, depending on how things go.

It'll be happening later than usual at 8 because I'm still trying to get someone from the Beketh coven to attend. So if I can manage that they'll prefer after dark. But I'm not holding my breath.

Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, cookie recipes, etc.

I was in the woods today, heading back with Azzie since she needed a check-up at the sanctuary, and she was just really, really eager to be freed from her carrier and make a friend - a black cat friend, a friend wearing a purple bow? Looks something like this?

He said his name is Rufus. I could hear his thoughts, which is somewhat unusual but not too out of the ordinary. I took him back to the mortuary with me and fed him, since there are already a thousand felines there, but his proper human is welcome to come and claim him.

After much hard work preparing that everything is ready, and getting the staff ready and the menu perfected, I am pleased to say that Cerberus Books will finally be read to open this Saturday, August 29th. We will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM. Free coffee and cookies will be available, and we will have a full menu of drinks, snacks, burgers, soups, salads, and sandwiches available for purchase, as well. All books will be buy two, get one free. We will also be showing classic horror films in the viewing area all day long.

I am also looking to hire a few more staff members, and will be doing on the spot interviews.

I would like to thank all of my staff for working with me to help this happen. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

It would seem that I have been gifted with the family fortune. Zelda and I have set it up in a shared bank account, for us all to have access to. I do trust that it will be used responsibly.

So it would appear that the Academy of Unseen Arts has arrived here in Vallo.

While there is already an educational institution here for younger magic users, there does not seem to be anything in the way of higher level education. Which is why I propose that we utilize this to establish something of a University for the magically inclined.

Should anyone wish to assist with this endeavor, please do let me know. I will also be reaching out to the local covens to see if there is anyone interested in teaching or attending.

I found my Praetor robe and badge in my closet today. It was only one day, really. I miss my friends from home and I hope I'm a good leader for the Legion. Frank's done pretty well and I think we'll work well together. Still kind of weird sometimes. Either way, I guess there's not too much point in dwelling on it.

It seems my nephew has been called back to our world. I know he has returned to a great destiny and our world is better for it. But I miss him terribly.

It is said, after the rain, the earth hardens. So I hope that I, after shedding tears, may be strong again.

Now I guess it's a matter of hitting the Vallo lottery just right and planning a wedding for a day when there won't be skeletons, spontaneous mind reading, bunnies or geese or animals otherwise out for a bad time, rapid aging in either direction, or you know what - I don't even know what could come next.

Huh. Okay, wigged. I don't think I've ever been to a dimension where magic and technology played together this well. Usually it's like two kids in a sandbox and one is like "rawr my dinosaurs are cooler" and the other is like "well my sand truck bulldozes everything you've ever touched" and then the fighting happens.

Are there any witches here? Apparently the Amazon guy got held up and somewhere between the Milky Way and can't deliver my grimoire. Which is, y'know, great if you're trying to not cast spells you don't have memorized. I don't traverse the skein of the multiverse that often.

Well, I suppose there are worse things than finding myself here again.

My, these wandering thoughts seem to be quite the thing, don't they? To whoever is trying to make iced and failing, there are several ways to do it. I find that putting about eight tea bags in a container, placing it in the sun for about three to five hours, and then placing it in the fridge to cool is usually the best way to go about it. I would recommend not removing the tea bags, as I find that leaving them in gives the tea a nice, rich flavor. I usually add about a half cup of sugar and sprig of mint for a nice, sweet flavor.

Also I need to pick between chronomancy and necromancy as my discipline focus and I'm still not sure which I want to put all of my energy behind. They both have their benefits and depending on the coven I talk to they recommend different ones so idek.
