Hello everyone. For those who don't know me, I'm Steve Rogers. And as strange as it feels to say this, we're coming up on my third Christmas in Vallo. It's my personal favorite time of year, and I mean that as a season and not any particular holiday. Even where I'm from, there's so many different reasons to celebrate in December, much less adding in more dimensions, worlds, galaxies, and universes. The best I can hope for is that we all find at least one reason to spread joy and love to those we care for and maybe, just maybe, our community as a whole.

I'd welcome anyone who is throwing general parties this year to share the details here, so they're in one place for anyone to find and plan around. I half suspect Sam will be offering up his place again either for Christmas or New Year's, but I can't in good conscience volunteer him. A little public pressure is okay, though.

And finally, I'll be spending afternoons from today until the 23rd as Santa in Starcourt Mall. Bring your kids, pets, or even yourselves if you want a photo and ask for gifts this year. I'll do my best to relay those requests to the right people to make it happen, if I can.

I'm not saying anyone should use alcohol as pain relief in any form, that would be bad. But I will say if anyone who's been dealing with those monsters feels the urge, drinks are on the house at Al's today and tomorrow.

Alright, so, looks like Vallo decided I needed a trip back to Year One. Cool. Cool cool cool. Hi, past Vallo. I'm sure you've already heard you're all babies, but just in case, you're all babies.

Btw past-me (present-me? I still don't get the technicalities of these things) signed us up for pumpkin carving, Nat. Can Yelena be trusted with knives at this age?

So, whatever is going on today hit Yelena. She's like sixteen (maybe??) and freaking out that she's here. She ran off and Natasha went after her, but keep your eyes open for a frantic blonde teenager. I'd recommend staying out of her way as much as you can - she knocked me into a wall to get past me, and that's not the worst she can do.


EDIT: We found her! All is well. Back to your regularly scheduled chaos.

Woke up to a shiny Corvette in the driveway. Not a bad way to start the day.

I've been told multiple times that all of this is very real and I haven't actually gone insane, but color me skeptical still.

I don't really know what else to Any suggestions on how to ease into this place as someone whose experience with magic and the supernatural is limited to one old lady who occasionally gets visions and TV shows.
