If anyone was looking to learn or to just have a dedicated time to work on their skills with others, Obi-Wan and myself will be hosting swordplay sessions at the training grounds on Monday afternoons from 2 - 4. Feel free to bring your own equipment but we'll have some available as well if you don't have your own.

Hey, guys. I know I said this last night I think it's fuzzy, but I really appreciate everything you've done to help me with the haunting shit. Some people panic buy a ton of shit after having an existential crisis. That was me at, like, 13. I used to fantasize about buying out half the pharmacy. Now I just delete my entire island in Animal Crossing. It felt kind of good? Not as good as a six-month supply of bandaids and antiseptic, maybe, but I'm vibing with this clean slate thing. I was thinking about home. Is there an age where you just stop caring about things or was that just Derry? Sometimes I think it'd be nice to be apathetic and capable of shrugging things off instead of the alternative. I'm over having emotions.

It'd also be nice to develop better coping skills I may have rode Silver into something and gotten myself flung off her and over the handlebars. Pretty sure she's okay. If not, I get to figure out if there's a bicycle repair shop here... even if she's not it'd still be good to know. Just in case.

With so many new folks showing up in the past couple days, I thought it might be a good idea to re-introduce myself and connect you guys with any resources you might need. Or uh just say hi again. I'm Noctis. Caroline and I started the DOA when we showed up here over a year ago. There weren't nearly as many of us then, so in an effort to keep up with all the new arrivals, we're opening the floor to get your requests and feedback in one place. What do you want to see moving forward? How can we help you while we're all here?

Some of the things we're already working on (and the people who suggested it):

1. A suite of welcome materials to on-board new folks (Gansey is on this one).
2. Opt-in tracking for departures with notifications to any designated friends and family (thanks to Bonnie and Cisco).
3. Guardian volunteers for anyone under the age of 18.
4. Faster response times for arrivals + provisions for parents with small children (Rogue).
5. FAQ from the magic research team (Anders) and information for werewolves (Kate).
6. New arrival mentorship program (Adam).
7. I can't believe I'm - Sex education (Richie).

And if you'd like to get involved in the DOA, by all means, we'd love to have you. We're starting to get pretty understaffed That's it for now. Glad the whole truth thing's over. I'd be worried I spilled a little too much but this place has more than made up for it. I found Silver! Everything's instantly better. Who needs to talk about your problems when you can just go careening downhill at top speed?
