Right so uh - fun fact? Maybe? You can get high on the mushrooms. Not so fun fact? So can everything else.

Could kind of use a couple extra fliers out here. Guess some small wyvern like creatures on this family's farm decided to eat the attacking mushrooms and now they're all high as shit. Literally and figuratively. Red and I have been trying to corral them in the air so they don't get too far from home while under the influence but there's like thirty of them and it's getting a little dicey.

Heads up if you head over though that a couple of them are getting a little aggressive too and been trying to snap at us but it's nothing too crazy.

While I can't say I'm entirely displeased by the overnight additions to my garden it is still a little disconcerting how things appear from thin air on the whims of a magic that none of us know how it works. I can't imagine getting used to all that anytime soon.

A friendly reminder to not trust so-called "hangover cures" being sold on the way to the coffee shop this morning, the ones sold after large holiday events are often suspect and not to be trusted. Find a reputable potion maker or go with a good Zemnian cure: raw pickled herring rolled around a gherkin and onion, it works every time.

In the new year, I will be making a very big change: I am resigning from my position at Geliara, Academy of Witchcraft. I have already spoken with the Headmistress and we have found a replacement, and I will be there the first week to help her acclimate to the classroom curriculum.

Ah- From there on, I will be offering private magical studies to anyone who would like to train in the Arcane Arts. All ages, all skill levels. Fees are affordable and by a set weekly schedule, and there is already a modest scholarship set up for anyone who cannot afford it but would like to learn. You do not have to have prior magical knowledge in order to begin, if studying magic is something you are interested in, anyone can learn with enough time and effort.

My magical specialties are transmutation and evocation, but I have studied all avenues of magic offered in my world and taught it for several years now.

So there’s a lot of things I don’t know about, in the grand scheme of things, but I really feel like I’d have heard that there was a tenth realm on the Yggdrasil.

Angrboda, I believe your yak has found its way into the woods near the Sanctuary. The colorful saddle is what gave it away. It has also eaten my entire berry patch.

The market is open all day today if you're looking for last-minute gifts, food, or a way to spend time with others enjoying holiday festivities. Gansey will gift wrap anything you buy from Blue (and anything you don't, within reason.) Matthew will be running storytime, with all the books read aloud made available to purchase from the Enchanted Nook. Syd will be wrangling the animals for photos, so make sure you bring her warm drinks as payment. And whenever you see Ronan, who will be mostly bouncing between the painting booths, tell him how great the train is.
