I made a post back during the winter holidays about flowers that I particularly liked that were linked to that season and the different traditions around it. I spent the morning looking for some blooms to color up the house and thought that maybe I should do another one, if only because I like to talk about flowers.

So, I present to you my favorite summer blooms, which is also not a comprehensive list because I like a lot of flowers: cut for images )

Anyway, I think that's enough words for me. Hopefully this isn't totally boring and instead inspires.

Anyone want a castle?

No, seriously. There's a castle up in the north area of Vallo that was overrun by those hands and I guess the owner was so damn generous for the save he wants me to have it. But it comes with a condition.

You gotta marry his statue daughter.

And listen, Annabeth may not be here right now, but I love her and straight up not interested. BUT, I figured someone out there might if they really want a castle.

The Summer Solstice is coming up this week--20th to the 21st.

A few of the covens are holding different events that are open to the public, while some others are invitation only. I know we’ve had some newbies recently, so here’s a basic rundown.

Prigany: is holding a carnival at [LOCATION] during the day on the 20 and the 21. It’ll be open from 10am-9pm. After that anyone is free to help welcome in the Solstice with them.
Brorose: is doing an art exhibit on the 20th and inviting anyone who wishes to participate to make art with their bodies during it.
Salie will be hosting a big feast at [LOCATION]. It’ll be a hint at what their ‘Taste of Vallo’ food festival will be like this year.
Ankou will be doing their annual ‘goth festival’, trying to get us some nice fall vibes faster.
Vorerra is holding a ball. You need an invite or you can donate $10,000 to get in. But why would yo Donations are being put toward building a new addition to the children’s wing at the hospital.

Also don’t forget that on August 18, 4 p.m. Enki Coven is hosting a Physics of Transfiguration Magic lecture by Vallo University Professor Marcus Islington. Enki rarely hosts anything for the public, so be sure to get your tickets asap.
