Tonight I sat outside of Morningside Manor for hours. I needed to be outside. I haven't gone on my nightly walk since this mushroom business started. I was thinking about home. I miss it. I miss the familiarity even if I would be gone for stretches of time.

Claudia's sketch pads and the doll she slept with showed up in my apartment last week. They were sitting on my bed when I returned home one night. At first I thought I was hallucinating, then I picked them up. I don't know how they got here or why, but they have brought comfort and sadness.

You'd think that things couldn't get much worse than getting swarmed by killer mushrooms, but no, somehow the worst thing that's happened this week is that my hair still smells like dog slobber ever after taking three showers.

Atreus, that would wolf (there, I fixed it, yiu happy Carol???) of yours and I are gonna have words when all this is over.

This is Steve. I've got eyes on what I believe may be the source of our mushroom invasion. There's a massive leader-type, it looks like the underlings are feeding it and it's spawning more. Something of a colony occurring here.

I'm transmitting my location, recommend organizing strike teams. Expect maximum resistance and a cave outcropping, so we may be able to use stronger powers without risking the tree growth.
