So now that I've had a few days to recover from my beating at Fight Club (body and ego), chased some lights and wound up with LED rabbit ears, and finished my Christmas shopping...

How do you feel about Round 2?

I went out looking for some winter-type flowers to kind of dot around the house in pots (sorry in advance if you're against this, Bells Hells) and found that there are a lot of common flowers that seem to be connected to Christmas and the other holidays around now. It got me thinking and my thinking turned into me making a mental list and snapping pictures of some of my favorites, some I think aren't particularly attached to the holiday.

Or maybe they are traditional for these holidays? I don't know, I'm a Winter's Crest celebrator.

Anyway, here's the official list of flowers/plants and their meanings that I, Orym, think are pretty good for winter holidays. The list title is a work in progress. I'm not the words guy, clearly.

Anyway, this is a lot of talking/typing for me, so wrapping it up. You should go to Yasha's if you're looking for flowers. Perfuma is great and the selection is real nice.

The market is open all day today if you're looking for last-minute gifts, food, or a way to spend time with others enjoying holiday festivities. Gansey will gift wrap anything you buy from Blue (and anything you don't, within reason.) Matthew will be running storytime, with all the books read aloud made available to purchase from the Enchanted Nook. Syd will be wrangling the animals for photos, so make sure you bring her warm drinks as payment. And whenever you see Ronan, who will be mostly bouncing between the painting booths, tell him how great the train is.

I am rapidly running out of hot cocoa mix, if anyone has a spare minute to train-drive it over here. Also, candy canes. A customer used one to mix her cocoa and now everyone wants peppermint hot chocolate.
