Good Monday, Outlanders! That was a bit more chipper than necessary on a Monday morning, forgive me.
If you haven't seen announcements or been told directly already, there will be a charity auction and party benefiting the youth center on New Years Eve. It will be a bit fancy, lots of great food, really good music for dancing, and the aforementioned charity auction. It's a silent one and we already have some great donations from Outlander and native individuals and businesses alike, but I just wanted to give a general shout if there was anyone else that wanted to contribute. We have gift baskets, we have certificates, we have experiences, but we'd love to see more. All proceeds raised are going right back to the youth center to fund facilities and programs that benefit the kids.
Anyway, reach out at vvessar@vcyc.org or by poking Lance or Dorian, if you're interested in contributing. Otherwise, I hope to see many of you at the party on the 31st to ring in the new year! It's going to be a good time.
Also, tomorrow is sort of Winter's Crest so, to my fellows that celebrated it back home: happy Winter's Crest to you guys. And I guess to those that didn't celebrate it, too. I don't discriminate holiday cheer.
