“Want to steer us to the next trap site?” he asked as he looked to Kate. He didn’t usually let anyone else drive the boat. But the girl was heartbroken, and Daud was no good at hugs, so…let the kid drive the boat.

My brain has been working against me the last two days, hopefully, it's nothing and this is just my being annoying. But I would like to be humored all the same, and will repay you all in fall plate testings.
