• No one knows how we got here or why some people leave.
• Everyone comes from all different worlds and places.
• Sometimes people from the same worlds come from different times.
• The city is mostly safe but the forest is a whole other ball game and there's monsters? and stuff? If someone has notes on that hit me up!
• Waypoints can get you all over the place and seriously that's about the coolest thing I've heard in a long time. Like you can just whoosh to somewhere else? Super convenient.
• There's pizza. I need pizza recommendations.

Okay, so, Chocobos? They do not behave like horses. I don't know why I just assumed it'd be the same thing. But it was fucking not the same thing.

The race was really fun, though. Haven't had that much fun in a long time.

Hey everyone. So, James' birthday's coming up on Friday (shit, where the time gone?), and I thought it might be nice to throw him a bit of a dinner or something and has hoping you guys could come out.

I think James would probably get a kick out of that weird-ass cat restaurant I keep hearing about, so maybe a bunch of us could meet there Friday at around 7, unless someone has a better idea?< I don't know, I haven't done anything like this before. He knows I'm planning a dinner so you don't have to keep this to yourself or anything, though I'd rather keep some of the details a surprise.

Maybe let me know if you're planning on coming so I can give them some sort of number for the reservation.

My apologies for not getting in touch with all of you sooner; this week has been quite a lot, though none of it bad. As you may have seen, Temeraire arrived in Vallo on Monday. We've since discovered that one of the coverts from home has also come through, and I've nearly finished moving all my things to the rooms there.

I will be spending the next little while making preparations, but should any of you wish to visit the covert, our coordinates are [coordinates].

Special thanks to Vallo for so far letting today be a Vallo-normal day. I enjoyed some tea, read to the twins, got a manicure, ignored all work emails, and took myself online shopping. Perfect way to ring in 28.

I have recently heard music by a man called Robert Johnson. I am told it is called "blues guitar." The guitar sounds very much like the guqin, though the vocals are quite different. I would like to listen to more, but not many of his performances are available to hear. Do any of you know of similar musicians I might listen to?
