Good morning. It's possible Alexis and I came home to extra pets because of this timeslip nonsense. In case these animals are proper residents who somehow got lost and wandered into Skyhold, however:

This clever boy is a very good walker and accompanied Calenhad and I on our usual patrol of the Skyhold perimeter this morning.

This tiny nuisance, on the other hand, refused to leave my lap for all of yesterday evening and did her level best to wedge herself between myself and Alexis overnight.

The orange demon yells and demands constant attention. It is still less difficult than when David and Alexis were temporarily cats, as it cannot use the network.

If these belong to someone, do let me know. Otherwise, based on how affectionate the animals are with us, I will assume that these are our future children, as it were, and will treat them accordingly until Vallo sees fit to send them back where they belong. If any of you future sorts recognize them, that would also be helpful - I'd love to have names to use while they're here.

I've never seen so many kids in my life. We didn't have them on the Ninth, save Harrow and I - genocide necromancy spell, long story, very downer - but it's nice seeing them running about here and now!

If anyone wants an Auntie Gideon to watch their niblets, I have zero experience with kids, I live off junk food and I'll probably try to benchpress them, but I don't mind giving new and doting parents a break anyhow.

Further confirmation that Finn is my child:

Every morning for the past three mornings, we've woken up to them in our bed begging for cinnamon rolls for breakfast. And tell me how I'm supposed to resist that face and these adorable shark jammies??

I never thought I'd say this, but keeping up with a magical, insanely energetic eight-year-old is starting to wear me down. I've clearly gotten too comfortable here.

Hey. Sexy Potato aside, I wanted to give you a minute before checking in and I've decided that minute has come and gone, so here I am. How are you doing with everything?

Before I say anything else, apologies again to the person who found me in the forest. In my defense, I have never traveled through time before and Vallo tends to be kinda sorta kind to me when it comes to the shenanigans, so I was a bit surprised to, you know, suddenly be in the forest when I had been in a lecture at school. And, you know! It was just a warning bolt of lightning, so the ground is really who I should be apologizing to.
