I just wanted to thank you guys for taking good care of our chocobos. We've moved them all over to Wiz's so they can be with the other chocobos and run around on the track like they like, but we really appreciate everything you've done for them. If you ever need anything, you can always count on us.

Shiro was born on a leap year, so his birthday doesn't actually come around that often and I've always seemed to miss celebrating it with him for whatever reason.

I was going to celebrate his half-birthday as a result. Then I realized that around that time, there were a lot of birthdays going on of friends and mortal enemies (hi, Blue!). I didn't want to overshadow their birthdays, so I decided to simply move it a month.

So, September 29th, be available! Shiro deserves to be celebrated, so I hope you join us. THIS IS A SURPRISE, NO ONE TELL HIM.

I live in a tree, I haven't eaten anything but berries in the last two days, I'm almost sure the river water I drank is the reason why my stomach hurts right now.

And now there's a bear circling the base of the tree I call home. I don't think it's a great climber because it hasn't tried to come up yet. But I think this will change once it senses the fact that I am in no way equipped to fight it.

Track my phone, I know someone put a bug on it so you could. Take me away to he experimented on if you want. I don't care. Just don't let this bear get me.

( It was nice, in a way, to be in a good place with a coven that seemed to like her. Not that she thought that they wouldn’t. It was just that they were so different from the Purebloods that she usually hung out with. )

I am told now that host gifts are not a common tradition in Vallo. I promised a poem, however, and I am not one to dishonor my own word.

I see the wisdom in ending my seclusion. I can't help but think that Grandmaster Lan would be disappointed in me, but he never imagined a place or time like this.

Big thanks to Rasalas for giving me a Vision Quest potion to try out - it only mildly tasted of weirdness, like if the experience of my husband sniffing my shirts to try to remember me had a taste.

Thanks to the genius of Ezekiel Jones, Morgan Yu, Brigitte Lindholm, Aloy, Murderbot and Hank McCoy before he up and disappeared, I have a working jaeger! What do I need it for? Hopefully nothing. Vallo, don't get any ideas. But for now? We're celebrating.
