Also uh if you are someone who can control ghosts and spirits and the undead and are not very busy !!!! I could use help keeping the Burial Mounds contained. My spirit wards are failing and the undead there are not currently malevolent just wandering but they could turn at any time and still everything is terrible 🙃🙃🙃🙃

Dorian's is closed until further notice. Thankfully there hasn't been any issues yet, but I'm not really feeling like taking that risk while facing yet another apocalypse.

Oh, blimey. I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later given the state of things, but nothing seems to be working. The wards around the Leaky are all down, I can't do any magic at all, the garden out back has rotted away-- I don't know what to do.

I've never felt so entirely disconnected from nature and it's honestly a bit disconcerting. No, it's very disconcerting. Am I using this predicament to drum up sales? NO, because any defense item for your self or home is free of cost right now and I am not hurting for money. Safety and protection is important, and I will be your shield!

Um, is anybody close to the friendly coven with the caravans? Toph and I found some of them unconscious like the others. They don't look hurt, just I don't know. Pale? We made them a little shelter to keep away any scavengers while we figure out how to get them to safety. It's just, well, I know the timing is really really terrible BUT Atreus can you come help me deliver sky bison babies??? Kelsang followed us out here and now she won't budge so it's happening RIGHT HERE whether we like it or not.

Alright dumb dumbs - I am just your average squishy human which means all this bullshit is thankfully missing me. Also means I am firmly vertical, sound of mind and memory (at least as sound as I get) and able bodied. I don't do helpful but here we are - if anyone needs anything, sound off? I can do booze runs, coffee runs, food, check in on things. Speak now or forever hold your peace. Seriously though on the forever bit, I will not guarantee how long this bout of selflessness will last.

The last time I saw magic stop working like this on a large scale, it was a spell cast by a specific group of people for revenge so only their magic would work. All other magic in the area completely stopped within minutes. The spell was meant to cover the world, but it was stopped from spreading very far outside of town. Everyone who was alive from magic had to run, and everyone besides this specific group would have been impacted.

For anyone who isn't annoyingly used to being cut from their magic at this point, it sucks. It's like a part of your soul is missing and I hate that any of us have to deal with this.

Tally and I have been scoring Sirius' ability to do laundry the muggle way. It's the one bright spot we're holding onto.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck--

So like. Before Prigany succumbed to Deathsleep, they talked a lot about this old story about how there was this oogey-boogy that lived in the mountains and siphoned away magic, once upon a time. They didn't know where it came from but it was Bad and then it was killed and no one spoke of it again except to be like 'beware the Babadook' or whatever.

It's called Inheritance Interitus?? Not saying this is 100% accurate to our current situation but magic siphoning sounds like what's happening now and if everyone hasn't heard the local story, I'm repeating it third-hand or so.

I am not the kind of General who is very good at rousing pep talks. I am the kind of General who actually pays attention to maps and knows the names of every noble seven lines back in the genealogy, and I definitely know who slept with who, when.

I'm very good at distractions as well, so if you want a distraction at this time and are fine with that distraction being in the form of being hit on shamelessly if you're female and like that kind of thing.

Or, I stole a lot of Serefin's wine, I'm also the kind of General who brings over wine. And I suppose it's not really stealing because I am Tranavian and what is his is mine.

I need to add my mom to the people who are now suddenly missing. She doesn't have her phone on her this time. It's still in the kitchen.
