A few items of note:

• The lighthouse that appeared on the edge of the forest overlooking the sea has been properly secured. If, through some opportunity of Vallo magic you are able to access it, the interior is host to powerful time magic. While exposure to it isn't harmful, it will cause time to pass within the lighthouse that isn't reflected outside of it. I advise you to avoid unless you're accompanied by a witch or wizard experienced with pocket universes and/or time magic.
• To the Thieves guild - you know who you are - I invite you to dinner and a game next week. Thursday, perhaps? How do you do with spicy? I'll make two versions of the pad see mao if you prefer a kinder dish.
• I seem to have borrowed a book from someone and I can't remember who it belongs to - "Voyages with Vampires"? Written by a Gilderoy Lockhart? I found it rather florid for my taste but to each his own.

For those that aren't aware, April 24 is St. Mark's Eve. Back home, we hold vigil at a local graveyard that night to recognize those who might pass through and we'll be doing the same here at St. Agnes. Whether or not Vallo abides by the same rules as home? I suppose we'll see.

If you want to join, I'm planning on arriving a little before 11PM. I just ask that you be respectful, both of the process and the dead.

Okay, Vallo. I want to know where you guys drink.

Specifically coffee and whiskey. I still haven't found a good cafe here yet, nor is what I'm brewing at home decent. Plus it'd be nice to find a place with a good atmosphere where I can sit and read or do some work.

For whiskey, I've tried a few bars that are fine, but I prefer to do that kind of drinking at home. In this case, I'm looking for bottles rather than bars. Surely there's a place to find a good single malt here?
