I believe that most who attended the Rosh Hashanah dinner I hosted have vanished, which is a shame - but it got me thinking about how Hanukkah begins in a week. If there are any out there remaining who celebrate Hanukkah, let me know. Perhaps we can come up with something to do. Something small, of course - it seems there's quite a bit going on as it is.

However, on Friday the 11th I know for certain I will be bringing potato latkes to my morning foreign language class. Stop by the DOA educational facility if you would like to partake.

Where's the nearest bar? Preferably, one that gives away free booze to new arrivals because they're idiots?
