Well, now that I'm over the confusion of having lost days and having to figure out why my job left me twenty or so voicemails, I guess I'm just gonna mention I'm not...whatever happened exactly. At least there's beer and take out in the fridge.

And this, too, shall pass in all things. Though, I am rather expecting there to be quite a bit of fallout from...whatever that was. So should anyone need assistance acquiring their respective vices, I'm quite happy to volunteer.

So I've been talking to Annie about what I should do for work here since my work experience and skillset are very [...] specific and limited. I had reasons and motivation to do what I was doing back home that I don't know how and I'm not sure I want to recreate here. I was thinking maybe instead of trying to recreate it, this might be a good time to learn a new skill that might be more helpful in this world.

Which leads me to my actual question, ha. If I wanted to learn more about working with computers, where would I start? I've got a reasonable level of experience already, but our tech was still pretty different from this world's tech.
