Today I turn 18. It kind of sucks that my dad isn't here to celebrate. I mean he has put up with me for 17 years. He should be able to see me turn 18. Oh well, I can't do much about that. So, I think I'll start my day with doughnuts and then who knows.

Back home, we pretty much just killed monsters and found treasure and used hacksilver for trade and things, so have lots of silver and gold. But I know that's not the primary type of currency here, and I've been uhh- reminded that I can't just use piles of silver to pay for things.

So! I can offer some services for pay! I don't really know what to charge but we can work that out.

- Animal healing & general checkups.
- Animal therapy. (don't laugh, animals get sad too.)
- Forest guide! I've been learning the forest really well (usually it's easier to travel around it by markers and sky, cause a lot of it does change around daily) and can help escort anyone anywhere :)
- Archery lessons! I've been using a bow since I was a young boy, I'm pretty good at it now.
- Minor human herbal remedies (I'm not a doctor! and much better with animals because I can understand them and hear their thoughts, BUT I know a little herbal medicine)
- Language deciphering? I know a lot of languages and can learn new ones really fast. Is this even something people pay money for? I don't know!

I had worked very hard to secure my position back home and will require some adjusting to be going down an entirely different path than that. That being said -- I only received the news this morning, but I am grateful and looking forward to teaching at Geliara.

It kind of caught me by surprise this year, because...you know...whole different year and place than I was expecting, but that's no reason not to observe. I'm going to be hosting a seder tonight, so if there's anyone who doesn't have a plan in place for Passover, you're welcome to come.

Hearing all this talk about witch covens and ceremonies and schools gave me a slight bit of hope that maybe there was something to look forward to in the werewolf community. But can now officially confirm:

Well, this is nice. What's the catch?

I mean, most places I know don't exactly show you to the hospital. They're more likely to kick you into the gutter. Still, I guess all the broken bones really threw them. Don't want to think about how many creds this is gonna cost me Or what else At least they calmed down about the eye when I explained that was an old injury. Thought someone was gonna pass out.

Hospital's nice enough though. Real cozy.

Still, what's a lady gotta do to get a drink around here?
