Cisco's gone. The lab's going to be so quiet without him. I'm hoping he's home and back with his team. I know he missed them and was worried about them. This has been happening a lot recently. Does anyone else notice that?

PARTY AT THE QUARRY!
Everyone would have been told to come by anytime after 2:00. Bev and whoever wanted to help out went out earlier and set up all the snacks, water/pop/juice in the coolers, and made sure there was lots of sunscreen and bugspray on hand as well as setting up bluetooth speakers for tunes. The first couple of hours would have been swimming and the like and once everyone was out of the water and hanging out on the small beach pizza and alcoholic drinks (and a refill on the waters/pop/etc) would have been delivered.

There's a bonfire as the evening wears on and stuff for smores on hand!

Generally just a come and go as you please day to hang out and have some fun. There's a waypoint by the beach so it'd be easy enough for people to come and go or get back home at the end of the night.

We went hunting on one of the beaches this morning and Cove was especially proud of his sea glass findings. ( Cut for image! )

If you happen to be by the beaches and find anything similar and would like to part with it, I would happily take it off your hands. I like to use the brighter, softer pieces for jewelry. These are all going to Cove's personal collection, which is one of those funny habits that you don't intend to pass onto your children, but I suppose it was only a matter of time.

I mean no offense, but I cannot accept your offer of room and board. Nothing is given without something else being taken away. I've gotten on well enough on my own. The woods will be all the home I need.

Sure, why not. This might as well happen. Sidenote for whatever multi universal mystical force at work behind all this, the next time you want to make me miss a month of my life please don't bring me back two hours after my toddler's bed time. Why not a nice 10 AM? Or 2:30 after his afternoon nap?
