In case anyone's wondering, the cute little bone-eating creatures are still around. I might know this from personal experience, so maybe just keep on keeping an eye out? They really have no right to be so adorable.

I figured I should make some kind of... announcement about it, I suppose, but I am planning from retiring from the Looking Glass Tea. Most of you know it was inherited by my ex? late? former spouse and then it was passed down to me. I'm happy to hand the title over to any Outlander who is interested in owning it (it did belong to an Outlander originally to begin with), but if no one has any interest then I will seek out a Vallo commercial realtor to help me sell it.

My focus is going to mostly be on the DOA magic department and family. I don't need the extra responsibilities.

Not to start this off begging forgiveness for being a day late on a public declaration, but: I'm begging forgiveness.

That being said.



Everyone should wish Billy and Tommy a very happy birthday, because they're great and deserve to be reminded that yesterday was their birthday many, many times over. Also, that Billy is just a ridiculously handsome guy.

That has nothing to do with their birthday, I just wanted to point it out.

If nearly being eaten by slime yesterday wasn't disconcerting enough, it was more so to find myself in the containment unit that had previously housed an amorphous green slime. He seems rather reticent, but he does do a remarkably good impression of me though I'm sure I'm not nearly so

He appears to be fully human when examined through x-ray, but there is something a little off when tested by magical means. I suppose we must be wary. I understand the DOA has collected what slime samples they've encountered, but there's always the possibility that some have been missed.

Smiley day, folks! It was sure nice to see you all at the speed dating--there's something magical to me about you soul touched finding connections with each other. That's what makes this flat disc of a planet meaningful!

In between all of that gazing into each other's optic orbs, did anyone happy to notice that creature outside? Kinda looked like the one that came right before the big portal opened up?

Also, so did my family because they got attacked in our home so they had to stay someplace safe and apparently, that's with Nick Fury in space, but then things went south and they had to leave and so they had to transport everyone from the station via Flerken body.

This is the one time I really wish that Vallo would give me more, because I need to know what else happens!

I just went to keep an eye on the portal and caught the tail end of what looked like new arrivals being taken in by the rebels. A big mess of them, not just the usual trickle of one or two.

I didn't see them come through the portal specifically, but 1+1=2 and all that.

I know there are still flerkens to wrangle--I literally just helped rescue one that got stuck in a tree, something I thought only happened to firefighters in shows--but I also had an ask for those of you out there that enjoy TTRPGs and are free for a couple of hours this Saturday evening.

You see, my Forever GM is amazing at what he does, but I figure that he deserves to get to play now and again so I'm stepping up. I won't be as good as him, but I can try and I need some additional players to help make this dream attempt a reality.

Also: surprise, babe. 🎉

I'm going to be trying out Brindlewood Bay, which is about a group of older women who are members of a book club who also moonlight as investigators that solve mysteries. It's part cozy, part crime drama and basically it just seemed like a lot of fun. All you need to do is come up with a character concept, including their general style of dress, their chosen cozy activity, and just a general idea of what sort of person your older lady happens to be. Example: Rosemary Owens, the cardigan wearing knitter and crossword puzzle champion who uses the second to be the group's resident codebreaker. That's a pretty tame idea, but feel free to go wild.

So, yeah. If you're into it, chime in below with your ideas and be by our place at 7PM on Saturday. I'll be providing some snacks, but feel free to chip in with your own to share. Should be a good time.

It it strange to think that three months has passed since I first found myself among those now calling Vallo home, and it still feels as though there is no shortage of interesting things to uncover. The sheer volume of books alone, the information stored in this device, it seems endless at times.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone for making this transition into a new world a smooth, and rather pleasant one. My life back home was one that required a certain level of seclusion and covertness for many years, it has been a nice change of pace to speak freely, and if I dare say, embark on friendships.

I would also ask a favour if I could. I am not - entirely alone here in Vallo. Five years ago I took into myself a part of Ultima, a god with rather nefarious designs for my world back home. I have kept him trapped for some time now, and am more than willing to continue to do so. However it is very clear to me that what is possible here may be boundless, and that a more viable solution might be had. With that, I would like to ask if anyone here has had to contain a god before, or part of one, and how it was done. I am, of course, not asking for anything to be done at this moment, or for anyone to take on this task themselves. I had just thought perhaps it time to begin gathering information, to see if there are other options at hand.
