I'm reaching out to you all in an attempt to start combining our efforts for the future (the pun was not intended). Roz and I got to talking at Nino's the other day and I realized that all of our talents are different but putting together what we see could give us an advantage against something like what happened with the snowglobe. Maybe we can meet once a week to touch base because as we know nothing we see is too small or insignificant. I know some of us already work in tandem, and there is a chance we will all see the same thing in one way or another, but it can't hurt.

I just wanted to touch base with everyone this morning about what's going on.

First off, please check Gansey's list here of who think is all missing. If there are any errors or anyone to be added let us know. We complied this from those of you who checked in, who we saw chatting on the network and then trying to reach anyone we hadn't seen.

If anyone has any workplaces that need temporary staffing let me know and I can get someone from a temp agency your way, or someone from the DOA to help fill in. If anyone needs help with child care at this time let us know and we can help out. Either with those of us left here helping out or finding you temporary space in daycares.

If you're defense Steve has reached out to you already to sort that out. If you think you can help out there talk to him to see if they need the extra hands on deck. I know our regular defense teams took a pretty big hit.

I know everyone is really freaked out and worried about their missing friends and loved ones but at this point all signs point to this not being the disappearances as we know them. This might be something else entirely, sometime that is hopefully only a temporary blip.

If anyone is able to help out with anything, or has any thoughts as to what might be happening, we're all ears.

ETA: Some people are reporting they can feel some of the missing people via magic. Anyone else experiencing things? Anyone have any knowledge of pocket worlds/dimensions?

Hello! My name is Jiang Yanli and I am, as they put it, a new arrival here. Now that I have had some time to really understand all of this, including how to use this device, I thought it would be wise to introduce myself. It is a pleasure to meet you all.

Wei Wuxian has told me much about this place, so I am excited to see all he has told me and discovering new things, too. I think that it would be more difficult to imagine being in a different world, if it weren't so different in many ways. It is very bright in the city during the night, isn't it? There is so much to look at and see!

Knowing that I could be here for a long time, I am looking forward to meeting new people -- especially those who have been good to my brother.

FILTERED TO EVERYONE EXCEPT GANSEY

Gansey knows so many people, I thought this would be easier than A week from Sunday is Gansey's birthday. Ronan and I had the absolutely insane idea to not throw him a conventional party at some undetermined location. We're in the process of converting the second floor of Monmouth where his office is into an escape room. A Mummy themed escape room because I know that Rick O'Connell is. If you have never seen the movie before, it's not required, but if you enjoy mystery, problem-solving, Egyptian myth, or any other academically adventurous things, this will be right up your alley.

We're asking for help—to not tell Gansey, to possibly lend a hand of pulling stuff together to recreate Hamunaptra, and to, well, attend. You don't have to do the escape room, Gansey might end up doing it a dozen times anyway but if you wanted to participate in the uhh theatrical parts, you would be doing all of us a favor.

I was worrying about getting job, because all I have done in life is play hockey. I left school at 16 to play pro in Russia, then to America at 18, and I have thought of what I would do if injury put me out of NHL, but I always thought of coaching, lessons, things like that. Things that need hockey, you know? Here there is not so much hockey, so I needed new plan.

Good news: I am lucky and found job fast! Geliara Academy needed custodian (cleaner, gardener, move things from here to there, do what needs doing but is waste of magic), and I am it! I will not starve, and job has hazard pay for mopping up nasty potions that might be turning me into frog. This is good, because I am big guy and starve fast, then get in bad mood and growl at people like bear. Also I come here in full hockey gear but no regular clothing, and I need to buy pants.

Hey, can anybody besides Yuri read this? (Not that I don't want to talk to you, Yuri, I just already know you speak Russian.) I've spent ten years in America, in a city where the Russian population is 1 (me), and I miss the mother tongue sometimes, you know? And I can't exactly call my mom from a magic island at the center of a dimensional convergence. I was thinking maybe we could have a meet-up somewhere just to hang out. It'd give the native speakers a little taste of home, we can see how much the languages from other worlds that are like Russian but not exactly Russian match up, and people who're still learning the language can practice! If that sounds fun to anybody else, let me know and I'll start looking for someplace with good pierogi to hold the first one.

So there's this thing at home called Thanksgiving. It's pretty much commercialized garbage piled on top of centuries of abused indigenous people, but it's also a chance to sit down for a big meal with your friends and family and be grateful for what you have.

I know, ok? I'm not selling this shit very well. Look, Thanksgiving is complicated, but being thankful is fucking easy. So I'm sticking with the latter. The Barns will be hosting a potluck next Thursday at 2pm. I'm putting a sign-up sheet at the market tomorrow so come by if you want in. You don't have to be American. You don't even have to bring food if you can't cook for shit. Soda works. Napkins. Just put your name down and we'll figure it out. If you can't make it to the market tomorrow, you can sign up here.

Greetings, Vallo denizens of all persuasions! I have a couple of announcements I wanted to share with the class before I enjoyed my Cinderella latte, which is a pumpkin spice latte where you substitute half of the pumpkin spice sauce pumps for white mocha. You're welcome for the life-changing tip.

1. If you're looking for a good place to eat after the epic hockey match today, Café Tropical is now in the city. It's from my home turf, Schitt's Creek. Really good food sometimes, and the smoothies are an adventure.

2. Into the Woods! Opening night is November 19th. The show runs 'til the 22nd, 7 PM each night with a 2 PM show on Sunday. We've been rehearsing hard, come see us!

3. My Womb Eviction Day is 12/19. I'll be throwing a party someplace so mark your calendars now! More details later, when I get potentially the right permits I'll need for this blowout.

There's a comedy club in the city called Bananas, so that's where I'll be doing my stand-up routine for the foreseeable future. It's probably called Bananas because that shit is bananas - I'm not the only act. There's also burlesque, aerial twisty-turning people, and others but with the stand-up shows, those come with free pizza. Also good cocktails and beer cans (those are not free). Come see me sometime, 'cause I gotta earn that green to buy actual fresh vegetables which are expensive.

I'm having kind of a crisis right now? As most of you are well aware by now, I have landed the role of Rapunzel in the upcoming musical entitled Into the Woods. However, my Prince has vanished into the ether. Okay, first of all, super grateful to those who came out to do some speed dating and to those who helped with the event - those who did help, you are shining stars and I appreciate you. I'm pleased to have brought people together for hookups and/or blossoming new friendships and if you didn't have at least one decent conversation, well, maybe your personality is just terrible but that's okay! It takes all types to make a world, especially a Vallo world!

Speaking of that Vallo world, I'm having a little problem in my apartment right now? And I snapped a photo with my phone because while everyone else gets Pokemon, I got this which is literally a floor-to-ceiling portrait of the fam, and yes, I realize we all look miserable but that's because we were. Whatever.

The problem is that this monstrosity barely fits in my space and if I leave it there it might just go through the ceiling. Is there like, someone who can do a little shrinky-dink with magic or shrinky-dink technology because I don't hate the creepy dead eyes of my family following my every move, I just would rather it be in wallet-sized.

ALSO - fall scents including pumpkin, cinnamon apple, black pomegranate, and berry + fig are now available at Rose Apothecary, in a variety of products! Pamper yourself for autumn and then grab a PSL from Starbucks, because sometimes it's fun to be basic and we should just let people enjoy things~ And if anyone can help with the aforementioned Rose portrait monstrosity, I will give you free hand cream, TIA.

Hey y'all! I've seen a lot of people seem pretty sad lately, and I thought I'd offer my condolences and two new things to do as distractions?

First, the Pie Club is official! Or as official as it is going to get by me announcing it here! We're going to meet biweekly at Asynja Meadery because Torunn said it was okay, so everyone make sure to thank her for providing a space for us to meet and also being allowed to use her oven if we need to! And also thank Brigitte who without her suggestion we would never have a club to begin with! ♥ Feel free to bring pie to share or recipes you might want to try. I have a lot of baking questions for y'all too! I've also been using a few ingredients to make pies edible by everyone, including fae! (I told you I wouldn't forget!)

Second, is that a few of you mentioned wanting to play hockey, or wanting to at least learn how to skate and I'd really love to show y'all! We might even have enough for a whole team, and really the next best thing to pie is being on the ice. And goodness, especially in this heat. If y'all are interested, let me know so I can get a headcount and I'll find a place for us to practice!

Some tips for those that are newly made telepaths via magical nonsense of this place:

• Humming a favorite song of yours helps drown out the noise.
  
• Warm baths and candles can relax those muscles that you haven't realised you've been tensing up in response to hearing voices in your head.
  
• Watching a movie or reading a book mutes the noise considerably.
  
• Alcohol helps.

I encourage people who have found ways to help with the voices in your head to share your tricks.
