I think, during the cool Scottish winters, that the heat emenating from the underground hot springs at the covert would be really quite pleasant; I know I certainly enjoyed it here in the last few weeks of winter when I moved in.

It has rather the opposite effect now. Good Lord.

The Magic Department just got a message that the Silniara coven is having some trouble with the jello monsters that are overrunning the forest. They'll take all the help they can get. They usually give out bottles of their wine or their teas for helping them out, if anyone needs even more of a reason to offer a hand.

A strange gelatinous blue thing kept trying to bite at my wing, and it would not listen to reason, so I ate it. Now I do not feel at all well.

Good morning, gracious volunteers. All photo shoots are now scheduled for 27th of June through the 2nd of July, and I think we have successfully accommodated everyone's professional and social calendars.

Please see the schedule* posted on my office door at The Art of Expression or on the website to confirm your assigned call times.

When the time comes for shooting, please show the punctuality and preparation that indicate proper respect for one's fellow artists and honor to the artistic process.


* OOC note: We're handwaving this schedule OOC. Just don't talk too specifically about exactly when your call time is. Time slots are morning, afternoon, or night; "behind the camera" folks will be called earlier than models are; assume everyone here is awesome at their jobs. I'll be making an OOC post with more detail for discussing specifics for character whatnots.

I appear to be affected by the latest in Vallo's strangeness. When I rose to dress this morning, my clothes applied themselves to me of their own volition, with flashing lights and energetic music as I twirled. It was disconcerting, but everything appears to be in place as it ought to be.

Be your best sexy sexy self in a photoshoot with all the cutest and coolest animals at the Vallo Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary and the Vallo City Animal Shelter, and help us to repeat the incredible success of last year's effort.

George thinks he's very funny and he has left me in charge of his joke shop. I am obviously not the best suited for such things, but I will be handling the managerial end while Wei Wuxian employs his obnoxious skills for the product side of things. I trust he will do the Weasleys proud.


This is obviously a difficult situation. I am unlikely to be anywhere near as personable as the shop's true owners. But I promise to make sure the doors stay open and this place is waiting for the Weasleys if when whether they return or not.

If you have concerns, speak them now.

I am saddened to see that Tina Cohen-Chang has left us. She was a great artist and friend, and she will be missed by many, myself included. In her absence, and with hope that she may one day return to us, I will be taking up administration of the Arts Center. I would not see her legacy of promoting the arts in Vallo vanish along with her.

Does anyone have any sort of advice, or tips for keeping plants alive? Or even ah, charms or spells? I had heard that it was difficult to kill succulents and purchased one for the lab, but it's droopy and disappointed with me. Help?? (Yes I watered it.)
