La Sirene's first karaoke was a great success! I'd like to thank everyone who came out and supported the event, and a special thank you to Sirius Black for being an amazing KJ! Don't forget to join Sirius at Galahd for karaoke this Thursday!

Now that La Sirene is up and running, I'd like to get some various acts established. I have Zatanna doing a magic night one night a week, but I would love to get in some other acts to fill out the week. Thursdays are going to be alternating between karaoke and a live music act, featuring songs sung by yours truly, though I'm willing to make those nights an open mic night, as well.

If anyone djs, I am looking for someone to dj on Friday and Saturday nights.

In addition to various acts, I'm also looking for some more staff. I'm currently looking to hire a few more bartenders and bouncers, full or part time.

I tried, Serefin. Never say I gave anything less than my best, even when I clearly dialed it in.

Do you have room for someone to do, say, a magic act at La Sirène? I've got one going at another nightclub in the city but I kind of like the idea of supporting another fellow kidnapped person.

And a lot of the act is flashy and visual, more a performance than engaging with an audience necessarily - I can do a demonstration for you first, if you'd prefer.

I've been here long enough. It's time.

I found the keys to the old nightclub that I used to work at on my kitchen counter. I decided I'd check it out, and there it was, the Black Mask Club, just as I remember it.

Except I don't want it to be the way that I remembered it, because Roman Sionis was a piece of shit, and he's dead, so it doesn't have to be how he wanted it anymore. And lucky for me, he gets to pay for all of the renovations. I hope he's rolling over in his fucking grave thinking about it. Or as his case would be, the bottom of the ocean near Gotham Pier.

So yeah. I'm opening a nightclub. I've hired a crew to get everything done as soon as possible, but there's a couple of things that I'm going to be taking care of myself. Like cleansing the shit out of the upstairs apartment space. I don't want anything left of that man in that space.

So, in a couple of weeks, everyone 18 and up is invited to the grand opening of La Sirène. In the meantime, I'll be holding interviews for bartenders, bouncers, wait staff, and in-house entertainment. No creeps allowed.

Now that Lux is running on a regular schedule, I'm looking for a few good live acts to schedule for Thursday nights.

Auditions will be Saturday afternoon for those who may not see this until they've finished enjoying their Poseidon Adventure. Outlanders will be given first chance, community solidarity and all that. No accordions. It's a choice instrument of torture in Hell and I will be happy if I never hear another again.

A film is certainly a unique introduction to a kidnapping.

This weird shit is gonna keep happening probably, right? So I think we need a pool. I'll run it. You can put in as many different guesses as you want. Odds on a guess go up if more than one person says it. You put down a minimum of five bucks per guess, I'll hold. If no one gets whatever happens next, we'll roll the guesses over until someone wins.

I've taken down a psychopath and his army of hired goons, and gotten away with barely a broken nail.

But apparently, fighting killer bunnies is what gets me laid up with a broken ankle.
