So yesterday there was just one of them? I thought it was cute! A little weird to wake up to, especially since it asked me to feed it but I don't think it really eats?

I was doing all of the stuff in the forest and left it alone and everything was really busy.

When I came home yesterday it was a little more weird??

Does anyone know what these are? What do they want? I'm not being held hostage I don't think but you never know. I just have a LOT of questions.

With various holidays rapidly approaching, I'd like to offer small-group (2-4 people maximum, I prefer to give everyone the appropriate amount of attention) lessons for cooking larger dishes. It can feel overwhelming to suddenly learn how to cook for multiple people and often times gatherings welcome others bringing a dish to pass, so if you'd like a few trade secrets and some cooking lessons beyond the basics, let me know. I have openings Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and all of the week following.

Each lesson will include learning both a savory and a sweet dish and they're sure to impress.

Uh so we're supposed to introduce ourselves here? I'm Guillermo, I um arrived yesterday, and thank you to everyone that brought uh me in! You could have just opened it though I appreciate the care of making sure I wasn't going to burn up with the sun just in case but nope, nothing like that here. Just me. Guillermo. When it comes to work do we just-- find a place and apply? Are there any special hoops we need to jump through?

Uh Hey. It's Jack. So uh- we're doing a fundraiser next month for the Youth Hockey teams of Vallo - it's a big joint thing with all the teams, Outlanders and Vallo natives both. It's Outdoors, at a big open skate at the winter rink they set up in the main city park, so bring yourselves and your kids. There's going to be games and food and Bitty's pie, and everything raised goes towards equipment and upkeep and funds that keep costs low for the kids and their families.

Anyway, yeah. Oh! December 11th. It's an all-day thing, I think? And if you want to volunteer to run a booth or set up a table of things to sell, uhhh let me know and I'll get you in touch with our coordinator? Which is clearly not me, haha.

Today is kind of a bittersweet day at the Sanctuary. Diva and Kari, Kookaburra and Falcon respectively, were both released after staying here for a few months and recovering. Diva is, no joke, the loudest and also sometimes the meanest bird I have ever met and she hates everyone here except father, but I'll miss her.

I have a feeling Kari will come back to visit, she was recovering from a broken leg but would only respond to treats (which, same, so I can't judge) and she's been following me around a lot this last week. If you see these guys out in the forest, be sure to say hi?

I have some big plans for expanding next year, so I think I might need to do another fundraiser. Maybe something for the end of Yule? Ideas welcome! Bonus points for heathen stuff!

Since this place fucking sucks sometimes, Blue and I set up a bunch of rando targets to throw axes at. We're going to play loud angry lady rock and bitch about everything we fucking hate and destroy targets with sharp objects and maybe smash a few things while we're at it.

No optimists or cheerful attitudes allowed, but if you're angry and sad too, and you just want to hate on something, feel free to come on by.

Even with all of the chaos going on, we will be having Enchanted Nook's grand opening today, starting at 10am. If anything, it may give all of the new and sudden children something to do, and I have done this before.
