Just a heads up Keith and I came across some weird like... giant jello monsters? Out on patrol this morning. Which is kind of equal parts gross and fascinating, but neither of us have seen them kicking around before so maybe it's a new Vallo being Vallo thing. Anyways... one went down pretty easy with physical attacks and one we had to set on fire so not really sure what the rules are here on these ones - but keep an eye out!

Pizza is great. Can't believe I've been here three and a half months and I've only just discovered this genius food. Do I need better friends?

I've improvised about half my mage kits, worked out how to take pictures on my phone and I even have a job now. Wonder if the girls would even recognise me if they ever decide to show up. Surprisingly I think the shakkan likes it here, so maybe I should get my hand in again in my spare time. Is there a market here for miniature trees, do you think?

In case you guys didn't see what Lance said earlier about the jello monsters, just be aware that they're kind of infesting the forest right now. They were basically my entire day during patrol and then I had a little run in while coming back to the inn afterwards. I know you're all real capable and can handle yourselves, but it might be a good idea to try to make sure that whenever one of us is out and about while this is going on that we stick to pairs, at the very least?

We've had pretty good luck in this area since we all got here, so anything to keep it going.
