Between the lack of tobacco others mentioned previously and the oddities around the cursing today, it makes me wonder if the magic of this world is overly concerned with people's vices.

Gilmore, normally I keep these magical musings to just Caleb, but I thought there might be a chance you'd have some insight. I hope you don't mind me including you.

I had heard of items back home that would negate sensitivity to sunlight. The methods I've taken so I can traverse around during waking hours have been fine, but it would be good to have other options. I don't have any of these items here, obviously, but I found at least one book in my tower that has some vague mentioning of an enchantment. I suspect it will require a lot of components on my end as well as time and tinkering, but I suppose what I am asking is whether or not either of you would be interested in a side project.

HI. I found something SUPER interesting in town today.

I've been here long enough now that I think I have to seriously start thinking about how to make money because, even though I'm still not entirely comfortable with the conversion rate between this money and what I'm used to, even I can tell it's not going to last much longer. Is there a job board? Do we [...] have to stick with what we were doing before we got here?

If we can't swear, I think drinks at the Crossed Quills might be in order, instead.

It seems oddly appropriate that the world seems to right itself once more and I am simply taken off to another one entirely.

I am Cassandra de Rolo. I've been told there are others here from Tal'Dorei and while I have a list of those I would prefer them to be, I am not picky at this particular moment if they wanted to speak up.

I do suppose, now that I've been settled in here, I should starting look for some form of a job. The question is, how does one go about doing that here? I have experience working in a bookstore / coffee shop back at home, as well as teaching magic, advanced knowledge about herbs, and expertise as a midwife. So I'm sure I could find some use for at least one of those skills, right?
