So there's been an explosion of new people lately, so I figured reaching out through the network might be the best way to sort something out. My name is Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti and, by a raise of hands or maybe just by posting a fun meme to this post, who has medical training/healing abilities and/or is willing to learn some things? And who is willing to help if I were to set up a medical response team in case of emergencies?

In my last world, we had something like that and it benefited us to have medical on standby when magical healing wasn't an option or because there were so many injuries, the magical healers couldn't get to everyone. I'm hoping to have something like that here, because it's always better to be overprepared than underprepared.

Thanks to everyone that came out to the first ever karaoke night at Galahd this past weekend! Loved the enthusiasm, hoping to see more of it in the coming weeks because Nyx, the lovely owner who put on a rousing rendition of "Call Me Maybe," agreed to make this more of a weekly thing.

So same time this week, yeah? Saturday, 8 PM onward, Galahd in Vallo City. All are invited, but it's 18+ to drink.

Also, anyone have any connections with the local animal preserves or zoos around here?

Buckbeak showed up a few days ago. I finally have him settled into a room at mine, but I'm looking into a more permanent solution so he's not cooped up.

Makes me miss Okoye and the Xiqhwala Wildlife Reserve.
