This device is truly fascinating. To think you can type what you would like to say and it is instantaneously available for others to read. Though I will admit the keys are going to take some getting used to. As will the city here in general. I can't say I have ever seen buildings as large and grand as these.

I just seem to be missing my dragon. Well- he is not mine, he is his own self, but-I he doesn't do well being separated from me and I would not want him to cause trouble. He is large and black, near 20 tonnes, and difficult to miss, as you might imagine. Answers to the name Temeraire. If you happen to spot him, do feel free to let him know I am here.

That being said, I was hoping to perhaps do something to mark the occasion tomorrow. I don't know if I am qualified to call for a Vox Machina-style pub crawl, but perhaps something along that vein? Something outside the keep and perhaps a bit less refined than my usual day to day activities. Though I understand it is last minute, so I likewise understand if you already have more pressing plans, but it is a thought. I spent too many birthdays

During the situation with the dinosaurs, I did a flyover toward the beginning to locate the source of the pterodactyls. That was also the time I discovered an island from my home world, Genosha - I have heard of other versions of the island, but the one I established before I came here is quite different.

It's not very technologically advanced, but I wanted to reach out to see if anyone could help with setting up solar power - I intend to keep it very simple in terms of embellishments, perhaps only one building powered up for the purposes of charging phones and the like; the rest of the island will be a place to unplug and unwind. I created it to be a refuge and a sanctuary, and I intend to open it up to everyone here if there is interest in getting away from the city for a little while.

I also ask assistance of the magical community, for warding off my personal residence on Genosha. Everything else I will share, except that.

Sometimes, I really am thankful for being me. I am all healed up, more or less, Aragorn is a happy animal and we both feel rather settled into place. It's rather a nice feeling to be at ease again - and while I certainly miss home - there are things here I never expected to find in my life.

I can't remember my family before I took my oath and all, but I am grateful to have people from home that make it feel like I have one, here. It feels like it could become a home, despite the circumstances. And, I'll be honest, jumping right into things instead of sitting around upon arrival really helped me find my footing.

Aragorn is enjoying having a reason to stretch his wings, he was bored back home. Now he's got space to fly, and I can't say having a reason to take him out is a bad thing. Though he won't stop being hopeful to have something to chase down like a rex - I have to remind him that wasn't a common thing. But, ah well, how do you crush the spirit of a faithful mount?

I'm starting up a new project. In addition to the dance classes I teach for the students, I'm going to be offering dance lessons on the weekends to anyone who's interested. I'm also thinking of doing some basic self-defense lessons. I know we have all kinds of combat training, but I figure some people might just want to know how to keep themselves safe in an emergency.
