So I had to re-live my mom dying in my latest dream.

...I just don't know how I'm going to cope with this, I keep telling myself they're not real but...

This talking gorilla with a freaking brain in a jar came and told me that mom was murdered. But my parents died in a car crash, god it's like this awful sick joke's got into my head and it's all I can think about.

I've gotten so used to having my abilities that my dream last night was a little unsettling. Alright, so it was a lot unsettling and not just because of not having my abilities. Mon-El and I ended up on another planet where they use other aliens and humans as slaves. Not only that, but the planet had a red sun, which rendered mine and Mon-El's powers useless. Mon-El revealed that Daxam, his planet, would get their slaves from this planet, but that he never agreed with that. Despite not having our powers, we did our best to free the humans who had been taken there. Luckily, Alex, Winn and the DEO found the portal there and came to help us, which included Alex using a yellow sun grenade to give me a charge.

Once we were back on earth and had everyone safe, Mon-El came by my place and said that he had decided that he wanted to be a hero like me. I agreed to help him, but he had to listen to me.

When I woke up I found the yellow sun grenade on my nightstand. I'm gonna have to find someplace to keep it safe on the off chance I might need it someday. I wonder if we could replicate it actually. Wouldn't hurt to have more than one.

First Halloween without my sister and Nora, catch me drinking shots every time someone does something dumb in a horror movie and being sad there's no drunk sibling to wrap in TP.

Dreaming is currently somewhat bittersweet.

On the one hand, I see my brother. On the other, I am reminded that he is not here with me.

I'm still not sure I'm not one of the 'bad guys', although morally standing we're not okay with the world being obliterated and are taking a stand with former enemies against that.

Apparently, I still have no fear of the Hulk and readily anger him while his hands are around me.

He asked that question.

I said yes.

It's been like three weeks since I had a dream. And that dream was scary, but I got the jeep out of it, so that was cool. But like. Why haven't I had any more dreams? I want to know what happens next!

With the weather being as nice as it is, I've never been so relieved that I don't have hayfever. I just face-timed my mom and my brother was in the background sneezing and sounding like he's got the flu.

What is all of this talk about helping animals cross the road? Seems like a strange game to play. A dangerous one too.

I woke up this morning with my whole room rearranged. And it wasn't in a good way.

My hands are still tingling, so I'm sure it was because of the dream. Over exertion of my powers there probably bled into my consciousness and then... out again, I suppose.

Has anyone done a study on this stuff? The effect of dreams and our waking up process I mean?

So been meanin' to post about this for a bit, but it's taken most of this month just to wrap my head around it all and sort things out - turns out ol' Lucy left his club "Lux" to me when he left town. Signed it over handwritten and everything - with what I'm hopin' is just red ink...

Anyhow, big thank you to Ozma for helpin' me out keepin' the place goin' and keepin' me from accidentally burnin' it to the ground and all.

Working on things from home is rather refreshing. I definitely like not having to get dressed every morning for class.

On the flip side, I get distracted so often it's harder to focus on the work. I think I've reorganised my room for better learning three times.

Pietro has decided to leave. To travel. I'm happy for him, I am. At least this time we can stay in touch, and I know he's okay.

I am still sad that we couldn't properly rebuild our relationship, but we have time. I just hope he's staying safe somewhere.

Waking up to the intense pain from an electrical disruption to the brain from a dream is not ideal. Movement makes me feel sick, my ears keep ringing and my vision keeps doubling.

I am most definitely staying in my damn bed today. Not even I want to deal with school feeling like this. >.<

Are there any low impact background entertainment recommendations? Nothing too noisy or requiring too much concentration.

It sucked working the entirety of the festive period but it does mean I can actually afford to take some time off.

I was wondering if anybody had ever received an item from the dreams that held sentimental value, both here and in the dream itself?

I never really consider myself a physical person, like, ever. I mean I hated sports when I was younger, hard to play anything with the coke goggles I used to have to wear (thank fuck for contact lenses) but ever since moving out here I've found that running first thing in the morning actually helps to clear my head.

That and yoga.

It helps that the instructor's nice.

Sometimes these dreams hit way too close to actual reality.

Gonna fuel up the bike and go for a very long ride, might help shrug this off.

Woke up with a stack of vintage comic books on the floor beside my bed. All issues I don't have. I know how I'm spending my day.

I have finally located my brother, I haven't seen him since the bombing of our home. However, my joy is somewhat bittersweet, as Pietro is suffering brain trauma from the explosion. As a result he is without many memories from before. And by many I mean most, I don't know if he remembers anything at all.

I don't believe he's started to dream yet, but I know that when he does he will discover that we are twins.

I suppose I'm looking for advice. Should I tell him, that we're siblings, instead of allowing him to believe we're just friends. Or should I let him dream and hope it helps his true memories return?

So I've gathered that a reliving a slightly alternative high school experience in dreams is relatively commonplace here but can someone tell me how common it is to wake up dreaming about almost electrocuting someone (by accident!) and then somehow short-circuiting the toaster and flipping the breaker because they're shooting lightning out of their hands?

Well how about that. Came home to a house cleaner than barracks during inspection. Hell, even the yard was trimmed.

Not bad, kid. Not bad at all.

Realising that I probably don't have clothes for the trip planned resulted in a trip to the shops. I don't know how anyone deals with this. I don't think shorts that short are a great idea for potential climbing rocks.

Skimpy tops are a little confusing too, I can't tell what's the front and what's the back.

So I think an outdoors centre would be better, at least there I can find proper activity wear.

I have seen this a few times now, and I am somewhat confused.

I wish to preface this with saying that I am not attempting to lessen anyone's courage. However, I feel like this may be a part of American culture that I am somehow not understanding.

Are there cultural reasons behind the announcements of sexual preference? I understand that in this country this month is used to champion the sexual spectrum and those across it who have faced prejudice, I took a gender studies course last year and we discussed Stonewall, I am aware of the ramifications there.

What I am struggling with is the reasons behind these things. Can anyone explain them? Is there such a way to do that?

It appears my assessment of my allegiance were correct. As confusing as it might be to me, the dreams are at least allowing me to understand the consequences of actions in a way few people can say they experience. Anger and vengeance are a poison, and I will not let them cloud my mind like my counterpart has.

Thankfully I have completed my course for the year and will not return to school until the fall, thanks largely to a very generous scholarship allowing my completion of learning here in America.

Anyways, if you're wondering where I am, I'm trying to ebay myself a Zune charger because the universe has a sense of humour.

I have discovered what HYDRA planned for my brother and I, and as I assumed it is not that we will be saviours of the world, more likely we are to assist them in vying for removing freedom from world. It seems they are unable to stand up against the attacks of those looking to stop them, which is why we were so important in Dr Lists experiments.

And while I'm trying to piece together my newfound place as a villain in my dreams, I am informed that my accommodation on campus is only secured until the end of term, but my off campus apartment will not be fully repaired until at least September. Fire damage being what it is.

I dislike apartment hunting, I dislike it more when I am feeling rushed to do it.

This was the first year in maybe 10, 15 years that I actually felt like I could celebrate Mother's Day.

My mom passed away when I was about 10 (#fyoucancer).

What 10 year old is prepared to be without their mom? I mean, sure she had her moments and she yelled at me and probably was a total b-word, but she was my mom. She was the one who taught me how to sing, how to dance, how to just let loose and live in the moment. She painted all the time, and she made the best grilled cheese sandwiches and goddamnit do I ever miss her.

So yesterday, Yondu and I just listened to some of her old mixtapes, drank beer, swapped stories.... it was frickin' hard but you know what? Glad I got the old man around. This way, she's never really gone, not when there's at least two people who still think about her and miss her.

Thanks, Yondu. For an old, cranky, ugly man, you're pretty okay sometimes.

So I need a person. I had a person, but she did such a great job that she got a promotion. Now it's your turn! General you. The person has to be able to handle things like: Kicking one night stands out of my apartment if I end up too busy to see them out, remembering important details like my birth date and my social security number, buying stuff when I need it, procuring me rare art, and being available for random trips to places at that last minute. Plus, I'll probably text you at 3am at least a zillion times. Very importantly, I've been told it's like babysitting. So someone with enough of a spine to tell a guy like me "Tony, No, it's 4am, get pizza at a normal time of night" is uniquely qualified to professionally babysit one Tony Stark.

It's been a long time, but I've got an audition. I'm excited, and ridiculously nervous!

A new month means I need a new list of books to read.

Looking for any and all recommendations, although I'll be honest: non-fiction is boring unless it's about cooking. If it's a good food memoir, then please, give me all the titles.

In the last few months, I've read The Passage trilogy, Howl's Moving Castle, Children of Men and You (which I really didn't like, and gave up on). I have a pretty random taste in books. As long as it's interesting, I'll happily add it to my goodreads.

These dreams have taken a ... troubling turn. The shift from reality is somewhat comforting, given I no longer have to dream of things that open old wounds, aside from my brother's presence by my side. But I feel a sense of dread as we make these choices.

Our home is in ruin, and I understand the desire to fight and rebel, but these people only fill me with worry over the future.

I do not think sleep will come easily in the coming nights.

I was feeling tired this afternoon, so took off from work early and came home to rest.

I passed out on the couch, slept for what felt like hours, dreamt again. I'm such a horrible person in my dreams. I just...I hope I'm not like that.

If you could have one thing from your dreams, just one, what would it be?

I am hoping someone here might just have a solution for me. I dream of, these days, being a techno-organic person, A being of living circuitry. A being whose life is partially sustained by the ongoing operations of a living, circuitry virus.

I the dreams, if exposed, people are absorbed and turn into either another techno-organic person or are drained of all life energy and absorbed by the person who exposes them.

I woke up with a patch of my arm turned into this virus. I slapped a jammer on it immediately, and it went inert, and has not advanced at all, since. It may even be dead now, I don't know.

But... I have no idea how to remove it. And I am hoping someone out there a whole lot smarter than I will have an answer.
