It's really high up here. Like, ridiculously high. How does my brother not suffocate? I swear there's less oxygen up here. Also, not sure how I'm going to deal with customers this week. "Hi, yeah, I'm in my brother's body, but it's no big deal."

Then there's my husband... What a mess.

So uh... Zap Apples? Funny thing that I dreamed about them last night, and now... I think I might need some help harvesting. A Zap Apple Tree showed up in our backyard.

I'm glad things have gone back to normal again. The city is much easier to handle when it's at its regular level of drama.

Big Mac, I'm sorry I haven't come to see you yet, does your offer still stand? I've really been looking forward to working in your orchard.

I'm thinking I might use some of the vacation time I have coming to get out of the city for a change. I'm feeling the need to stretch my wings. And I do mean stretch my wings.

Preferably some place where it won't cause a sensation.

Days like this remind me of only the darkest of dreams. My name's Big Mac, or so everyone calls me.

Now that craziness over the weekend is over, I suppose it's time to go back to normal. Or, whatever normal is, really. Dreaming. I had crazy dreams last night. Twilight got an owl, Pinkie seriously thought we were all ditching her, and then we ended up at the Grand Galloping Gala.

My fritters were effing amazing. Those Canterlot snobs don't know what they were missing.

I'm confused. My cards ain't workin' - I can't charge no magic.

But at the same time, I can see! No more stupid color blind, no more ugly eyes. I hate the eyes.

Anybody else havin' problemes like this?

Seems like there's a lot of fuss going on, a lot of people being affected by yet another 'weird happening'. I hope everyone find themselves okay, in it. Times like this are when everypony should stand together to help one another.

Well, not gone. They're not pointy anymore. Sam's are different, too. He keeps crying. I think it's changing the way things sound to him.

Cloudsdale is a hip place to be. It's where all the ponies want to go. Especially during the "Best Young Flyer" competition. Thanks, Twilight, for figuring out how we non-winged ponies could stand on the clouds for a visit.

I'm going to have a beach party on Friday evening before I leave town. Anybody want to join me? Say, around sunset?

I'm not very considerate in my dreams, either. The way I treated Rarity when she was makin' me a nice dress? Shameful.

I had a lot of dreams last night.

I dreamed that I'm a very judgmental pony.

...Last night, I dreamt I was a pony.

That makes no sense.

Taking the day off of work to spend it with my man. I've never done that before. Since I'm technically self-employed, does this count as skivving off or playing hookey? Hmm.

I've finally been able to cook a little something without burning it and having my children throw up. I count that as a plus.

Most of them were sick this past time, and that was.. something. I haven't ever had a house full of sick people like that before.

It's time for me to go into another job though. Something else to investigate. My last investigation will be on the television soon. I hope everyone enjoys it.

It's been a crazy day and night. But hooray for 2013!

I'm going to go to bed now, as soon as the nice taxi lets me off at home. Big Mac, pancakes. You know you want to make them for me. I'll be over when I'm sure I'm not too hung over. I'll text first.

If there's anyone who wants to come to my place for drunk snuggling, and you have a reason to suspect I would be up for snuggling you sober (you know who you are), please come by. I'm in a super snuggly mood, and all I have to snuggle is my bathrobe. It is not terribly affectionate.

I just made pancakes with bacon cooked into them. No matter what else happens today, I win at life.

I'm also starting to see a downside to the ... things I can do now. My apartment is glittery. Forever. No amount of cleaning is getting it off, either. I look like I live inside an ABBA video, which makes me sadpants.

All right, yes. The Christmas Night Incident, as we're calling it now, was my fault. I feel fine admitting this because look at all the good things that happened as a result. So the party wasn't at my house and there was a little damage, which I'll add that I paid for and stayed over the next morning to clean up after in order to fix it, so really, none of you should be yelling at me at this point anymore.

I see by stalking this network that Enjolras has had conversations with women as a result. Quite lovely women in fact. Therefore I sparked the conversations, and by defaming me, he was able to bond with them, which serves as good of an icebreaker as any, right? Especially when you've been in prison and probably aren't at all inclined to any of the various pleasures that can be had THERE...

All in all, I'm going to call that a success, despite the fact it got a little wild. Everyone ELSE was happy. Well, 'Ferre might not have been exactly happy about Enjolras attempting to destroy his family basement but...

As a result of my rousing success THERE, I propose New Year's Eve as well. Everyone I know is coming to wherever we're having it, and anyone else who wants to meet me is invited too.

Made apple pie with Joanna tonight. Turned out more like cinnamon-y apple soup, with a soggy crust. But we had fun.

Christmas went really well. Everyone loved their gifts (as far as I can tell) and we've been doing nothing but enjoying our time together. Harry is coming over for New Years and probably taking the kids somewhere.

Thus I will be by myself for the countdown. I shouldn't be so excited, but I am a bit, to have the house to myself for one evening. I don't even know what to do with myself.

I guess I'm getting used to be FOR SERIOUS ON MY OWN AND ADULT, OMG. I love that I got to spend Christmas with my family, but I'm soooooo ready to go home now. My train leaves in the morning, I'll be there in the afternoon. I'll probably spend the day taking care of some shop things real quick before texting everyone to get someone to hang out with for dinner. So expect mobile spam, fools who've given me your numbers.

Once upon a time I was really good at flirting with boys and getting them wrapped around my finger. I lost my touch somewhere along the way. It's probably best for all involved.

I've never been able to complete a gingerbread house without eating all the candy first.

I have to say my favorite part of Christmas in the States is the sapin de Noël or Christmas tree. It is not something that is common in France. It makes me want a big tree! Then I can decorate it and say that I have had one.

Ma Maman also sent me my sabots to put out. Sabots are wooden shoes children leave out in France on Christmas Eve and they get presents in them. It is kind of like American stockings. My sabots was carved by mon grand-papa for ma grand-mère for their first Christmas together. I have a pair for Bill too but I will have to put them up so the dog does not chew them since they are very old.

Let me be the first to say, I HATE cold and flu season. Mum's soup is brilliant but I have things to do, like shopping, instead of being all stuffed up and headache-ish. I also am going shopping tomorrow too. Maybe people will avoid the sneezing awesomeness that I am because they think I'm contagious and I will get done that much sooner.

This has been the weirdest week.

I'm really starting to like it here. Newport Beach might not be as busy and full of people as San Francisco, but it's just as fun, and there's less traffic.

I just can't wait to get done with all the administrative stuff for my shop. It's mostly set up the way I want it (I'm never going to complain about cleaning my room again), now I just have to do the boring part. Forever. Luckily, college has prepared me for unending paperwork.
