Still haven't had another dream.

But then I usually have a new one near the beginning of the month.

You know, sometimes, I think Luke thrives on making me absolutely crazy. Some of the things he talks about confuses the hell out of me. I'm not into the tech stuff. Not like him.

Caught my cat eating plastic wrappers. Food dish was full, he was just crunching on the plastic like it was the tastiest treat imaginable.

.. explains some of the things I've found in his litter box, actually.

Looks like we found the missing kid. I swear, this dream thing, it's like a soap opera. Kid was in the lake. So that'll be one of the hardest conversations, when I go and tell his mom we found him.

I don't know, though. Something doesn't sit right. Spent the day at a facility in town, a lab. Watched the security tapes of the night Will disappeared. We had to call the search off because of rain, but there was no rain on the tapes. I don't know what the deal is, but those guys are lying.

And then we found Will in the lake. Seems a little suspicious to me.

Well... I guess the whole dream thing was bound to happen sooner or later.

Looks like I'd been traveling around the world training with combat and survivalist specialists, just so I could join the Crows. My old man says that I'm just like my cousin, Bruce, except that I'm actually going somewhere with my life.

Also, my cousin's been gone for three years and I decide 'Hey, lets break into the place.' Because my step-sister calls me saying that Sophie was kidnapped. Which brought me back to Gotham early. Also, Luke is something else.

I think, right now, I'm glad that my sister is off in Italy. Considering these damn dreams, but I plan to check on her anyway.

On top of all of that. OW. Guess it's a good thing I know someone good at stitching up wounds, so I'm probably going to have a scar on my left shoulder. Along with a bruise along my cheek, but that's neither here nor there.

Not going to lie.... seeing a white stretch limo painted with I'm guessing was an attempt to be an undersea scene and sparkles??? was definitely interesting. I'm guessing it's a personal business since there was a phone number as well as "mermaid rides" painted on the windows.

Part of me wonders if this is a California close to the ocean thing? It's not like I haven't done mermaid shoots back in New York but... it was definitely something. Though mermaids are in and it's a way to make money so...go initiative.

So, Beth sent me a picture of where she was at. I have to say that Lake Como is beautiful. When your twin sister makes you miss a place that you left. Italy is beautiful this time of year.

Che palle. I did not know the answer to the question 'can these dreams put you into the hospital?' was yes. Then again, it may be a combination of them plus my own stubbornness that put me into the hospital, but here I am. With many needles stuck in me and staying for 'observation.'

At least I can breathe again, that is a positive.

I took a nap and woke up to see that the statue of my likeness was also right here in my hospital room - I am not sure where it was located in a dream, though it must mean I die soon because why else would someone put a statue of me in their office? But anyway, here I had to explain it as a prank. I think I am delirious enough on drugs for them to have believed me.

After this weekend, I feel like we all need some kind of party

So I'm going to throw a big bash this Friday. Food, drinks, dancing. You're all invited.

It's nice to see the dreams haven't gotten any less dramatic. I imagine they will remain this way. At least no one can say it will ever get boring.

I am perpetually weak to my brother I am tempted to punch myself in the face, but I don't think that would work or do me any good, so I guess I'll just have to live with my choices

Apparently despite all of my preparation and good reasoning, I seem to be much the same as I always was. My brother is still alive and he has our family somewhere. Supposedly safe. I would say I was surprised, but I am not surprised in the slightest. He says he'll take me to them, but I can't help but wonder what the catch is and what annoyance I'll be suffering for letting him live. Needless to say, I am not looking forward to what I'll see next, but I need to know.

Been awhile since my last dream update for the adventures of Kate Kane in World War 2.

After being rescured by Mera and Atlantis, we ended up in Zambesi. Not the first time I'd been to that country. I was there in my younger, naive days, apparently.

Old wounds dug up, old memories, betrayal, capture, giant mechanical animals. It was a party.

Well, there is nothing like feeling as though you and everyone around you is following some unknown script by a man who has blackmailed you before and wants your husband dead and you're the only one who sees it. Dieu, I have a bad feeling about this. And here I was expecting things to end as they had in the first set of dreams. Clearly though that is not the case this time around.

I will never cease to be dumbstruck on the things this new administration puts into place. Banning some news media from a press conference? Sigh. I really feel like I should be a hermit now.

For the record:

I ain't funny for thinking that these stupid dreams are because of the water. Don't you all tell me that you readily accepted the dreams as memories from the get go. Who would? Let's be serious here. Name someone that was all "oh geez these aren't dreams they're memories" from the beginning?

I did not fight and nearly die for this country to be made fun of for the goddamned dreams that I've had, thank you very much.

I think I'm coming down with something or just losing it in general. I've forgotten about two meetings today and when I tried to drink my morning coffee it tasted awful but my assistant says it tastes fine to her. Maybe I just need a break.

Not gonna lie, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the Lego Batman Movie. It looks really funny. I wonder what my dad would think about it if he knew who he was in the dreams.

Well, there's that. Because of this whole political nightmare I've been advised that any trip overseas for work should be canceled. All because I've traveled back and forth between places like Syria, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan a lot.

I want to do my job not be unable to do it because of politics.

Ah. I forgot how it felt for gossip rags to have nothing more interesting to talk about than my love life. I also forgot how delightful it was to have my agent speak to me so tersely about poor life choices, but I can't be expected to stay cooped up inside all day Ah well. I suppose it really was only a matter of time. I believe my shame meter is broken, however, so I'm not all that concerned about it.

I found out I'll have practice on Halloween. :( But! We're welcome to come to practice in a costume that we can dance in. I'm thinking of going as a cat because then I can keep my black leotard and just add cat ears and draw on whiskers.

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our one year anniversary.

I'm still completely mind blown.

Who can believe it's almost October already! Almost starting to feel like fall, at just a smidge below eighty degrees out.

I myself am ex treme ly excited for Fall, and for Halloween. The second the clock ticked over to September I got all my decorations out and slapped a huge Halloween display right in the front of the store.

When your professional life takes a very sharp left turn, and you just have to knuckle in and get on with it.

Strangely, this stuff never seemed to happen in New York. At least I'm getting used to the strange looks at bookstores and libraries.

The unfortunate thing about starting a new job is that when you have the itch to travel, as I currently do, you can't go anywhere.

It's just as well, Lily starts school soon so it's certainly not the best time to jet off to Europe. But Paris would be wonderful this time of year.

I wish I could sleep. I can't sleep. I don't even know why. No bad Dreams tonight, I just... can't sleep. I close my eyes and nothing. Then I open them again and... I just can't. I tried counting sheep, or whatever, and a cup of warm milk (which, by the way? Totally gross.) I dunno what to do, man. BUMMMER. :(

How do people here know that a dream is an unusual sort of dream as opposed to a normal dream? I had a dream I've had sort of before, but also I don't know.

Unrelated, but I found this and this. I'm pretty amazed by both of these.

Getting real sick of wearing hoodies when it's a million degrees out or getting weird looks and/or questions all the time. Which one of you magic types wants the honour of making my arm look human?

I've decided that the strangest part of these dreams is how you feel like you know a person, despite hardly knowing them (or maybe never knowing them at all) in real life. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I've only known people for a couple of months rather than years.

Apparently my front yard is a Pokestop. I sprayed some little brats with a hose for being outside my house yelling and making noise at 3am this morning. I have a pregnant wife trying to sleep you assholes.

One set of dreams wraps up and a new set starts soon after. Well okay then. I can't tell what is more strange though. Is it the fact I apparently have two older siblings in this set, or is it that I told my parents that I became an executive party planner after moving to the States and they actually believed it...

I suppose this should be interesting, to say the very least.

Nothing like reliving the worse moments of my life for a third time. Thanks dreams. I like picking out all the little differences, really. I almost want to go back to the 1940s dreams. Creepy undead magic and everything.

Dreams can be so utterly fascinating. Anyone around up for sparring? I think I need to work out some aggression before work this week.

I've begun thinking again about starting my own self defense classes. I see so many woman and guys mugged when I'm out patrolling and think that if they had real self defense lessons. I know that there are a few other people on Valar who teach or have skills from their dreams and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting together to do something.

I spent the evening trying to figure out whether or not my hair straightener will explode upon being plugged into a socket in France. Hyperbole, I know, but it's okay. It's dual voltage. Everything will be okay in the end. I'll be able to have straight hair in Paris.

I'm organising a baby shower for Elphie, it's going to be on Saturday 16th July.

I pulled a muscle fighting training yesterday. I'm not exactly the kind of person to take things easy, either.

It's bullshit that just because you find a girl and a guy together in a basement, covered in dirt, that you automatically assume they've been fooling around. It's even more bullshit when your Aunt, who practically raised you, also goes along with that assumption. The only tiny good thing about this is that it allows you to cover up for what you were actually doing - no one would believe you're reburying corpses.

Also, love how ghosts want to be cryptic with information. Apparently my powers are too strong for my age. Ya think? And sassy ghosts - ugh. But at least we found out information that the guy our group home is named for is insane and did experiments on the supernatural.

At least we're all getting the hell out of there, even if it was moved up quite a bit. And Derek changing....I hope he doesn't have to go through that here. Oh please let him just be normal here.

I wish I had a summer vacation from these dreams.
